I'm hoping someone in here can point me in the right direction.

The story...... pulled Falcon transmission from steel block late model to replace the flex plate. We run a stock style bell with a light weight flex plate.

Cannot for the life of me to get the clutch to bleed. Pump the pedal and get a squirt or two then nuthin. I've pumped it. My girlfriend pumped it. My wife pumped it. Hell! Even my wife's girlfriend pumped it!

I've gravity bled it and vacuum bled it and nuthin.

Is it possibly the master cylinder took a crap for no reason? Or is it internal in the transmission. It has been trouble free up until this point.

Thank you for any and all info

you need to bleed the master cylinder. run a line from the master into the resevoir and pump until you get fluid from the line.

if u push the pedal 2/3 way down and release it will bleed if you go al the way to the floor it will by pass the piston opening and not bleed myself i connect the line to the clutch cyl and pump it 2/3 down and watch master cyl for bubbles and continuee it till i get a stiff pedal and then go down and bleed at cyl never failed yet

I have tried every tactic I have ever seen posted and with all of them you magically out of no where get a pedal after jacking off with it for an hour ...

when you look at the cyl the piston when pushed has a small port where its open then recloses when pushed the whole way down so it open for a sec then recloses when u go to the floor that y i say 2/3 way down it is in the open area  if u pump it fast the the cyl don't have time to release the air so i reach in through access door and pump pedal while watching forr bubbles in the cyl it should take about 15 to 20 minutes and it will work unless m/cyl is plugged

I was having a similar problem with my car. When I first built it. I had missed a teeny ,tiny copper compression fitting between two unions. I got pedal for a while and it bled off.

Just sayin.

Thanks everyone for your input and suggestions.

Yes, we got it done!

We actually used a syringe and forced fluid from the bleeder on transmission up to the master cylinder.

Again, Thank You
