Drtracer27 you say Nate had his motor pumped, do you know what CID it was because I've heard all different sizes. Dog rules say 412 CID max.

I'm the one who said his dad is a tech man. Am I wrong ? Did I say anything that wasn't true ? The problem lies that if he was illegal , that there wasn't any repercussions. So that looks like blatant favoritism. If he is actually legal then kudos to him. Back to the drawing board boys.in all the years I've raced there not once has a tech official even looked to see if my car had seat belts. So your credible tech is non existent. There are no rules. As long as a magnet sticks your legal.

As far as the bounty goes.that is smart pr. That will bring in better cars and drivers and make the regulars try harder . therefore fans will see better racing.that is what the sport is all about. Good luck guys.

I laugh about the magnet rule because years ago we raced at hummingbird in the "pure stock" class. We had an empire racing block,scat crank,eagle h-beam rods and a roller cam set. The block,heads and intake were all aluminum but we got powder metal from GKN and mixed it in the paint and sprayed the motor with it so naturally a magnet would stick. If they would have used a engine scope instead of a magnet it would have been a different story.

Go to the damn drivers meeting with all other drivers in agreement and demand what ever you think is illegal be measured and inspected with everyone watching or you don't race ... It's not that difficult !!!

Bmb18 ok I'm surprised because I heard from Nate himself 2 years ago that he has a 420. His exact words were ( I only have a 305 just add 115 cubic inches to it. Either he was just bullshittin or he's not good with math.

I hear he's running a 10 degree spread bore 454 with a lightened brodix block , 5 stage dry sump and billet oiler valve covers ... He just tossed off a couple rounds of goo on it so it looks like a rusty iron piece of $hit !!! And you guys fell for it !!!

The car is most likely legal because Marion Center has bascially NO  RULES on this class!    Marion Center is the epitomy of what is wrong with racing these days.  Wide open rules lead to cars like this that are LEGAL, but few other cars that can complete.   Look at their Limited Lates.  Only rule is steel block compared to all the motor limits at tracks to the east.    Their Pure Stocks are the same way.   Blame the track.  Not the racer who takes advantage of their loose rules.

I always wondered why the 88b in street stock can't even come close to being able to run with the 28n. Why is there such a big difference between the two cars? Because there both a pro 1 chassis. Is it simply because 28n has that much bigger of a motor or is it all in the setup. Maybe the question is more like what is Kline telling 28n that he isn't telling 88b?

Tony Jackson junior had the same club 29 race cars and the same Cornett engines .... He ran so bad he sold the cars ... Owens and lannigan do nothing but win ... Having the same equipment is no guarantee of the same results

Nate won just as many races (maybe more) in the 88b as he has in the 28n.  I'd love to watch him jump in the 88b and shut everybody up.  Everybody forgets that a car needs a good driver.

Just another thought here. How dumb would it be of any chassis builder not to give as much help as they can to anyone driving one of their cars? The goal of the chassis builder is to sale cars, to do that they need their cars to be as fast as the driver is able to make them go. Suck it up boys and figure out how to get as fast as Nate, quit crying about it or go back to playing in your sandbox.

After watching 88B in a pure stock then move up a class with 170 laps total and has finished 2nd to 28N several times. He usually in the top 5 each week. And from watching from the bleachers I see Kline swarming 28N and 88B to make them better each week. My next purchase will be a Pro1 . Keep up the good work drivers.

Dave Kline got something figured out no one else does.. So go fix your problem by buying a pro1 car.. When people get beat by a club 29 car what do they do? They buy a club 29 car.. It's easy if you want to run up front you need best of the best. The time of home built streetstocks have come to a end. Get your check book out and go see the professionals

I remember a guy who was dominating the SS class at Dog Hollow in the early years of the track, they checked everything and he was legal, then they found how he was cheating, he filled the cross member  (I beleive that's what it was) with lead to make the car more stable. He was disqualified and lost all points accumulated for the season.

NOW, my question is, if you cheat to win, what does it prove? I am not saying 28N is cheating, I have no idea, I'm just wondering if you cheat to win races, how does that make you feel? Did you win fair and square?, No, so, again, what have you proven? That you can cheat to win? Prove you can win and not cheat, then you've done something.
