once again nate smith wins marion center and was told the wheel base didn't match and once again given another week to change it (and they wonder why the ss count is low there

That class way out of hand has been for past few years especially that car why wouldn't he move up to the class the car really belongs in.

He's everything that is wrong, and has been wrong with stock racing in this area for the past several years. Tracks have rules, but they tech superficially, or not at all. Certain teams are permitted to get away with certain infractions. Other teams playing by the book get pissed off and leave. The ones that stay have to pay just to be competitive.

If the guy has his rear end installed out of square and people think that's why he's winning why don't they just move theirs out of square ??

Legend his dad is a tech man at the track. No one else is allowed to get away with anything.

Why doesn't every just park their cars on the track and get out and demand he be teched on the front strech with everyone watching

The only way the track is going to listen is if the other racers stop showing up. There are other options, especially on Saturdays.

I have a idea. Instead of crying about the tech officials. Why don't ya'll just go home work on your cars and make them faster. What would be so hard about that? How can you say the 28 is illegal when it passes tech at Marion center and dog hollow. They guy who builds them cars got more than just one out there and they're running at other local tracks winning races and pass tech so how are they so illegal.  all of the cars pass tech on a weekly basis. Go home work on your car and make your car faster. instead of complaining about everyone else s.

His dad is not the tech man for that class! I agree with Legend if everyone believes he is doing something to his car that makes it faster than theirs why don't they change their cars? Instead of taking your car home leaving it loaded up try getting it off the trailer and make changes to it. They don't get faster without working on them and just complaining about someone else car being faster.

Every car with legal adjustable control arm mounts on the rear end is illegal then if they are in different positions side to side. With same length lower control arms, if you lower the bar on the rear, you shorten the wheel base on that side. So what's the rule?

My opinion. If u win as much as he is ur automatically a cheater it's that way in any class. Does it mean he is cheating? Not at all. I was in his position in a 4 cylinder a few years ago. Eventually the other racers caught up. Just my opinion. I don't know him at all so I'm not being biased

To be fair, NASCRAP has done it this way for YEARS.

beleave me most of the ss that run marion center don't sit on their trailors and they are worked on every week you can only chase a guy so many weeks till mentally u ask the ? what is he doing that i'm not the answer is (cheating) then you hear it said not once but twice by the supposed to be tech guys that he is not legal but give him another week so then they won't tech again the rest of the year

If that's the case you Guys ought to get with the program when the wheel base is different from side to side that's called roll steer. It's been around since the early days at Morgantown.

So he has a stock wheel base with rear steer? Doesn't sound like cheating to me, so what about the cars your racing with that have 105 wheel base? All the good street stocks have rear steer that's not cheating.

Does that 28N still have a 454 in? That thing is down right outrageous and one of the only reason he races at Marion Center and Dog Hollow where they don't tech. Every time Ive seen him go race against the boys at Lernerville, he couldn't compete.
