Where was Danny Holtgraver last night with ASCOC? Didn't run with the All-Stars or the Outlaws at the Grove. Tim Shaffer ran with the WoO. Something definetely going on with the both of them absent from a ASCOC sanctioned race.
Where was Holtgraver last night?

Maybe they finally got tired of not getting what they have been promised.

I heard something to this effect from someone in the know Tuesday night after the race at Lernerville. Seems there are some troubles brewing and maybe some big changes ahead!! Time will tell!!

Shaffer was at Williams Grove-but qualified poorly-was listed as last in his heat did not show in the B Main results. Very few travelers at Wilmot-but-they still had 38 cars.410's alive and well in Wisconsin. Huset's tonight-some tough customers there. At Wayne County on the 5th there was some grumbling from some All Star regulars too! Nothing I can quote cause you hear so much bad about the All Stars all the time!

The All Stars has been a great series, but lately they just have not been getting it done. I hope someone or something happens to this series to make it the series it once was. I can remember when going to an All Star show ment something. Lets all hope that this series gets a boost so going to a All Star show is seeing a top of the line sprint car show again!

They just had the greatest speed week in years. I was at KC to see 62 cars. I understand not wanting to drive to the Dakotas for a race, but to say things ain't great with them and great racing... IMHO is incorrect.
Too bad we don't have the population base to support tracks in western Ohio with payouts like out east. That's their only problem. Man, have you ever driven around the east coast? It's like a giant never ending Pittsburgh.
check this out for the strip of lights out east just east of where the tracks are and then look and find the little bitty lights of the Pittsburgh area.
