Yeah..as someone who races a 604 with corey and jim every week, I'm not remotely suspicious of either's motor. Jim's been hooked up and driving super smooth lately and Corey drives the top of the track deeper and more on-edge than anyone on the track and still rarely makes mistakes. They're both doing a great job behind the wheel, and there's several guys out there with more motor than both of them. Keeping the tires on it for 20 laps means a more than power most nights.

Corey was dq'd because fosnaught is a sore loser and will wreck you if he has the chance and is so far up everyone's ass at lernerville that they decided it was Corey's fault although it clearly wasn't.

. What a joke. Had that been a few years ago, Jim would have ripped the stupid little head off of the so called super boy Corey. Pretty bad when your sitting in the stands, and clearly see Coreys hands turn right into Jimmy. And if he didnt do it on purpose, most normal respectable people would have lifted at that point, not drive through the other car. Total ass clown, and funny as hell that he needs security around to protect his ass from the ass kicking he should have gotten!

Hugh Swartzlander fan here...looked to me to be a slide job. I cheer for Brian each week ..I didn't think Dave did anything wrong during the restart.... Let's all agree on one thing....Lernerville had a great night of racing. Let's hope next weeks races are as good. " thanks Lernerville" for putting on some of the best racing in the country.

Seriously??  He ran Swartzlander up the track.  Smacked King and knocked his shock off. and hit a 3rd car in that feature.  Now lets talk how he sent Norris into the infield wall!   He should be thrown out for a week!!   Hey and guess what....He drives like that EVERY week!!

Oh, I didn't say Murdick was a choir boy.  I just didn't see where he deserved a trip to the tail because of some hard racing.

But you think Corey deserved getting DQ'd for some 'hard racing'? LOL

I'm not a driver but if Corey wanted to wreck Jim on purpose I'm sure he would have put him hard into the wall or at least something that would have put him out of the points or done substantial damage to his car. Why would he drive into him and wreck himself too? They are battling neck and neck for points, why would he risk damaging his own equipment? Just like in the Lernerville article "As the leaders entered turn three, Fosnaught appeared to slow entering turn three just enough that McPherson had to check up to avoid rearending him, but ended up driving into his left rear quarter panel and sending both drivers spinning out of contention." Fosnaught did slow down and where was McPherson to go? I bet Fosnaught did it on purpose!!

Obviously, you are riding the c33 train. I was sitting in the stands and watched Corey's hands move to the right. He took out Jim in the 20J. Simple as that. Corey's driving has steadily seemed to become as if he believes everyone should move out of the way for him. He runs into drivers. He wrecks drivers. And continues to do so. Ive talked to him once or twice but needed to leave before I drowned in his ego. I had much respect for him as I watched his talent and progression as a driver near the beginning of his career. But have since lost much of that.

I have watched Jim become much calmer as a driver and seems to be much smoother every race. The track was very slick and Jim was running the bottom. Even IF BY SOME MIRACLE, Corey did not intentionally take out Jim, then why didn't he lift? He drove right through the 20J and never let up. Corey risked the safety of a lot of good drivers because of his stupidity. I think Lernerville made the right choice

And lastly, I remember last year when Brad Hibbard was brought in to tech the c33 car after an A-main event. I walked with the tech officials and watched them clear the 20j, 81, 66, and 2. All of which did not have a "crate" motor. But when Brad was introduced to the c33, he was denied access by the driver and crew. They ended up pumping the c33 but that information is invaluable in this situation.

20J was running the middle of the track most of the race, Corey went low to make a pass and Jim just decided he wanted to go low on the last turn.

You can sit here and bash Corey all you want but in the end he's one of the greatest guys you'll ever meet. He's not afraid of what is in his car or motor, so I don't know where you are getting your information from but it's WRONG! You're funny though, I'm getting a kick out of your know it all attitude when it comes to Corey and his car.

Jim may have a calmer attitude but I doubt it will last forever. He can't fool me after what I've seen him do/say!

You can't be serious. Either you are blinded by your love for all things c33 or you are just stupid. The third choice is that you have absolutely no idea what you are watching. My pick is that it is a little of all three.

You must take a lot of stupid pills. Jim was bottom to middle, yes. But Corey came off turn 2 on the top. Then takes out the 20J on the bottom? Your argument is invalid.

Trust me, im laughing quite hard at your know it all attitude about Jim Fasnaught as well. Pot calling the kettle black...? At least im giving you actual first person witnessed information.

Lastly, I couldn't give a damn about any of your opinions. You are a newbie on this site. Proven from your ONLY 11 posts all solely on this topic. You are biased and created the account to make a point. However, truth be told, the c33 took out the 20J and deserved to be DQed. Anyone that thinks otherwise is unknowledgeable about the sport of auto racing

The c33 car has been teched plenty of times. Possibly the 20j should be teched considering he's been racing for a decade and all the sudden he's winning races and the championship? You don't go from the bottom to the top overnight without putting a little something in the car.

And the car that is driven at ppms has run in the rush series where they tech the cars as well.

Also I would like to know why the 20j took out a car in the heat and not penalized for it, the guy couldn't even start the feature because of it. Same thing happened in the late models, nobody was penalized. The track has their favorites and it will never change. It's a shame because it's the best facility around. But it's going down hill.

Overnight!!!!!

Jim has in the past finished 2nd in points and multiple times has finished top 5 in points. Hes been running up front for the past few years and won last year. how has he become and overnight wonder? How many racers out there dont put a little something in the car week to week or over an off season?

I'm a 'newbie' to this site because I don't post a lot but I've been a member since 2009. Sorry I don't spend my entire life hiding behind some name to defend POS drivers, like yourself!

C33 came from the top of the straightaway to take the bottom because the 64 and 20J were up higher. I really don't care what you have to say. Because you think you're 'always right'. Just like the driver you're defending. Get a life dude.

And yes....overnight.

He won the none winners race.....YAY for him!!!! Big huge accomplishment along with his so called 'new attitude' on life.

Many other drivers including the c33 have had multiple bad nights/bad luck. And now a DQ. Jim may win by default....another HUGE accomplishment for him.

I went last week to watch. Jim is one of my customers and friends... BUT!! I call them like I see them... The wreck in the heat.. I put that one in Jimmy... But the stuff in the feature come on.. Shook and Jim were diving the bottom ad washing to the middle.. Corey, who was faster, came from the top to the middle and loaded Jim's car up.. The wheels were off the ground for crying out loud.. Jim had run the same line most of the night.. So Corey being as good as he is should have seen that.. As a driver I know I would have.. He didn't just hit him and get out of it either.. Then he got into him in again in the corner turning him.. Oh and let's not miss the fact that as they both went to the infield Corey waved to him trying to edge Jim on... Come on.. From all the posts above its obvious people are trying to stir it up and get Jim wound because they know his past history... For you people doing that.. That's sad.. Anyone and everyone can change.. As far as his racing... This is the first time I've ever seen either Jim or Corey run.. So I have nothing to base my opinion on except what I saw Friday.. I'd honestly say the fastest car did not win the race Friday.. Why.. Because he dumped another guy and got Dqd for it.. It was a total bone headed move.. IF I would not have known either of them.. I would have still called it the same..

Everyone has their own opinion. If this is your first time there you wouldn't know this but on opening night Greg said over the radio "20J don't do anything stupid" while the cars were going to get weighed....obviously because even the officials at Lernerville know how Jim is...Well he did do something stupid he SMASHED into the rear bumper of the c33 coming across the scales...Lernerville did nothing about it.

It's the same old crap from the 20J driver....last year when he wrecked in the feature he got out of the car and threw his helmet or steering wheel. Either way he's not a class act.

I guess my point would be... I judged on what I saw Friday... So it didn't create the greatest opinion of Corey in my mind.. Had it have been reversed and it would have Jim dumping Corey.. My opinion wouldn't have been the greatest of him..
I feel like you keep trying to convince everyone how bad of a guy Fosnaught is... In your words "everyone has their own opinion"

If I were an official at Lernerville, I would be all over both of them if things are as bad as you claim...
We sat behind a guy who was trying to give hand signals all night.. He wanted somebody wrecked... When the wreck happened... He an several others stood up cheering.. Nice bright orange sweatshirts.. I'm not saying "he" could see or read the hand signals.. I'm saying people's opinions of someone.. Are often formed not only by your actions but the people you surround yourself with.. It was Awesome racing up until that point.... I walked to the Pitts after with my wife and kids.. And yeah Jim's bunch wasn't happy but no one did anything... Like it or not everyone kept a pretty cool head.. Corey was called to the booth... And then Gary and two other officials came looking for Jim to tell them their determination... I watched Corey and his crew leave.. And nothing was said.. Nothing from either side.

I know you mentioned Jim might have slowed on purpose... Do they run two way radios or mirrors?? Because if they don't I can promise you Jim had no idea who was where and slowing down "on purpose" would have only hurt himself..

Obviously your a fan or crew for Corey... And I'm sure there is some past stuff that has your opinion of Jim what it is... But I stand by my opinion that it was a total bonehead move... I watched the c33 come through the field SMOOTH all night until he
got to 20j batch stretch... My opinions of Jim Fosnaught as a person.. Are based on how he and his family have treated me through the years.. And yours are obviously based on something that had transpired between him and you or him and your driver.. But looking back through your posts here.. It doesn't look like you are changing anybody else's opinions.. It's over.. Let it be...

i am a newbie.  a DQ was a bit harsh doubt that the driver wanted to lose 2nd or 3rd place to intentionally wipe someone out esp. on the last lap!!!   Doesn't matter cause yep it is over.  easy for everyone to shoot off their mouths...people need to learn how to be nice.  by the way i also have seen the 20j flip out, others also in his crew this year and in past years.  not nice.

Racing is a self-policing sport. Both of these guys are smart enough to know that if they put all their efforts into taking each other out it's not going to be good for either of them. Lernerville officials always at least claim to not know or care who's in the points chase, so you can't use Corey potentially trying to get ahead in points as a justification for the punishment. Regardless of fault or intention, this hasn't been some constant reoccurring problem, and I don't think the track should have stepped in and did something about it at this point. I think conversations like this with really opinionated people are what Lernerville needs. All of a sudden, the 20J vs C33 is the most interesting rivalry at the track. Fans need a driver to root against..it's just part of the excitement of racing.
