Diehl Auto of Robinson presents PENN OHIO PRO STOCK SERIES & Vintage Mods headlining the Sat Aug 9 Action at PPMS! Plus Supers, Crates, Hobby Stocks, & Young Guns
f501ed4ce6b9e9370584ec8f85e231a5_zpsd433
Join us Saturday night August 9 for round 2 of the PENN OHIO Pro Stock Series as they take on the Sunoco DIRTcar Sportsman at Dirts Monster Half Mile. A full field of cars, the Who's Who in Pro Stock Racing, put on a great show with Curt Bish racing from mid pack to get the win in the Ed Laboon earlier this season. The Sportsman Teams will be racing 20 laps for $1,000 to win, $100 to start up to 32 cars! Ed Laboon event rules will be used again with open tire rules and NO ENTRY FEES! Should be another barn burner!

PPMS welcomes the Pennsylvania Vintage Modifieds back for another visit. They put on a great show in 2013, and we expect more of the same as 15 cars are already committed to attend the event. Come early and check out the Vintage Mods on display, then enjoy them racing on the fastest venue they visit annually! This is not an exhibition, they race! A little bit of history at the Monster!

That's probably all the excitement needed, but the DIEHL DIRTcar Super Late Models, Precise Racing Crates, Imperial Heights Garage Young Guns, and Miley BP Car Wash Hobby Stocks are also on the card and sure to keep fans on the edge of their seats all night long!
Vintage Mods invade the Monster Half Mile Sat August 9! A blast from the past! Gates open at 5 pm, come early to see the Vintage Cars on display! Hot Laps are at 6 with racing at 7pm. General Admission Adult $15, Senior $14, Age 13-16 $10, Age 6-12 $5 with free gift at the gift shop! Under 6 Free! Pits are $35 for this event.

Please support the sponsors that support our sport. Tell them you heard about them at the Speedway! Red Miley Rumble Sat August 16.

Another great performance by the PENN OHIO PRO STOCK SERIES. Thanks to all who attended, Rusty Martz took the $1000 prize over a 34 car starting field. 27 finished the event...great racing. Hats off to Vince Laboon who has worked very hard creating an open rules package used at PPMS events. The same rules will be used for Sportsman at the 26th Pittsburgher Sat 9/13 & Sun 9/14, seperate shows each day...stay tuned.

The Penn Ohio series should be sanctioned both races during the Pittsburgher since they get great car counts.

It was amazing watching those 33 cars racing the first 13 laps of the feature without a caution.   Good, close racing, hats off to the drivers.  Those guys really do support their series.

I thought all the races were pretty good. The crate race was excellent too. You had lots of passing as Charlier and Holtgraver came from 11th and 12th and finished 2nd and 3rd. Lynn Geisler can still wheel it at PPMS too.

The Crate race was super entertaining.  Even though Russ Kolesar moved out to a pretty comfortable lead, you could have thrown a blanket over positions two through five.
