With the new software we implemented a few months back we have some new things available. One of them is a pick'em app that let's you pick between two teams (or drivers) in head to head matchups against one another. So we are trying out a Driver Battle contest for a month to see how it goes. From now until the end of August you can click on the Pick'ems link in the above right and select winners in battles between drivers for the week. You simply pick the driver you think will finish higher of the two in their races for the weekend. If you are correct, you get a point. Each week I will enter the winners and a leaderboard will be displayed with who got the most correct. If a lot of people play we would hope to get a sponsor and maybe give away great prizes for the winners next year. You must be a registered member in order to be able to enter and make picks in the contest. The pick'em link will only be viewable on a laptop or PC and a tablet using the full version of the forums.
The driver battles for this week are currently posted and ready to be picked.

Any comments so far? If you look at the right column under trend, that tells you percent of people picking a particular driver thus far.

I think it's a good idea. I like that the format is set up so it just takes a few seconds to complete each week. Very cool!

Here is the leaderboard after week 1, only top 25 displayed but everybody's results are recorded, so just because your name is not listed does not mean your are not still in the contest.

Hey I love this game, I do have a question though, I'm kind of confused how the match ups work, some drivers drive once a week and others twice so how does that work? for example eric williams vs brent matus, brent normally races lernerville and mercer were eric usually just sticks to mercer so how would points be awarded in the matchup for the weekend??

I would like to do another week. But I have not been able to get ahold of Rick. He has been emailing me the past weeks winners and 10 new matchups every week. But he has not emailed me this week. Could you post the winners from last week and 10 new matchups for this week?

Okay Rick is having some trouble with his email. So I added the winners dirtL8MdlFan21&11 provided. Since we skipped last week I added a new week to finish the contest. I used dirtL8MdlFan21&11's matchups he provided above. If those matchups don't work for next weekend let me know and I will change them. I hope everyone has had fun picking the driver battles...
