What about next year?  Please adopt similar engine rules as Jennerstown and Motordrome for the late models so they can participate for Sunday afternoon specials that you should run every other week starting at 4 o'clock in the afternoon. jmho.

I know that AMP closing has created quite a stir, but keep in mind there IS a race in Clearfield on Saturday Evening.

The last time the Super Cup was out they put on a great race and expect the same this time.

If nothing else, come out and support the local track in Clearfield.  This is the last race of this season.

Hope to see you there.

I'm just the helper. I don't know about the Oct 4 race. I just know that a Super Cup race is coming up.

14 Super Cup cars were there, 13 took the green and I think 10 finished. JJ Pack led the entire 75 laps but was challenged a couple times.. Nelson (80) ran strong second early in the race til a mishap sent him to the rear, he recovered and worked his way back to 3rd. Kevin Kromer (77) was closing fast in the closing laps but couldn't make the pass. JJ Pack ran a pretty flawless race, never wavering on his line from start to finish.

If this track was still dirt there would be more than 14 late models show up

I dunno about that, many dirt tracks have struggled this year to get 14 late models. Hagerstown, Bedford, Winchester, Marion Center, have all had weeks with 14 or less super late models. Limited Lates are a different story, seem to be plenty of them around at several tracks this year. Last year CNB was dirt, I went to a couple shows they had 20 or less lates I believe.

Car counts are down everywhere. Vintage racing seems to be growing. That's about all.

I just think dirt would draw more cars than asphalt. Jennerstown had only 5 late models Saturday night
