I agree, I kinda enjoy the victory lane interviews but in this past weekends' case I can definitely understand not having them. Saturday there was obviously rain in the area and sunday I had heard that some of the people that live in the area were complaining about the noise because their kids start school the next day. don't know if that is the real reasoning but it sounds good.....

Well I guess those people should have taken that into consideration before they moved there, just like if you are looking at the most beautiful house but it sits across from the railroad tracks, you better take that into consideration....I hear people at work always complaining about the noise the track makes also, I got one word for you = MOVE

Some of this conversation brings a smile to this old face. Years ago a college classmate of our daughter told us she and her husband had recently purchased a renovated home near the race track at Mercer. The speedway was closed at the the time and they had been assured by the seller it wouldn't be reopening. I told her not to be too sure because of the rumors at the time. Next time I heard about them, they had already moved. And as I go by that house on my way to Mercer on a Saturday night , I still smile.
