Tim Shaffer was reunited with his crew chief James Chambers for this weekends doubleheader at Mercer Raceway Park and it led to quick success as Shaffer was able to pick up the All Stars feature event Sunday night.

"When your car is working good it allows you to setup lapped cars and catch them in the right spots," Shaffer said. "Man it just feels really good to get a win."

Our own Jerin Steele was on the scene and filed this report with quotes from Shaffer and 13 year old Tyler Denochick who took home the 305 Sprint feature.

You can check it out here at TDN: http://thedirtnetwor...-pa-sprint.html

Congratulations to Tyler Denochik on his win. I am very happy I was there to see that. Great family and it was really cool to watch. Wish they would have interviewed him in front of everyone. He really deserved that.

Bill49 did Tyler just start at Port Royal? I don't see him listed as having any points. The only place I see any race results for him  is at AMP. They sure figured out Mercer very quickly , I was really impressed with Tyler Saturday night at Mercer, he looks really good. Way to go Tyler , I hope to see you back at Mercer soon.

Also at TDN, we've put together the area track postseason schedules on one page so some of you can look at the whole picture and start making plans.

Still time to get to your favorite places one or two last times before winter takes over!

Tyler Denochick is 13 years old. He has been running with the rasesavers at AMP this year. He has been running karts for several years, and is a multi time Pennsylvania Dirt Kart Series champion. He is also on the Jimmy Seger crew.
