I can't find one outsider that has it on their tour? By outside I mean a guy that only comes to ppms for big races like moran, drown, ect. Will this just be a feild of 20 local guys it looks like?

I may head to Wayne county then. Seems like they will have a huge car count for $3000 elite 8 Saturday night.

If you think 25-30 cars is a huge car count, I don't think you know what a huge car count is.

Ditto Doug Drown!! He is a good Ohio regional driver, but not really a "big name" in my book!! Remember he finished 4th in the Uncle Sam 30 behind King, Coffey & Krummert at Lernerville just two weeks ago!! With two big races, the Pittsburgher weekend should draw a much better field than the RMR last month. However, not much in the way of "name" outside travelers. Blame that on John Kennedy dumping the NDRL!! Could have been a biggie like last year!!

Wayne County is off this weekend. Hilltop is having an Elite 8 race. Believe me, they will not have a "huge" car count either.

Walt Doug Drown is a top talent who drives hard and clean and is usually
Towards the front .
To add on to this... The reason Doug has been running so much Lucas and WoO stuff the second half of the year is because he's supposedly going to run one of those tours next year. It was to get used to him traveling.
If he does run one of them, I'd have to say he'd be a shoe-in for RoY on either tour.

I do believe Walt said he's good at the Ohio tracks!

As I said, he is a good driver, but at this point not really a "big name"!! At least NOT YET!! And at age 75 I don't travel as much as I did in my younger days!!!
Also, no need to travel all the way to Ohio to see good racing, plenty of it here in western PA!!
