Two major events with no time trials, high car counts and incredible racing for fans that like to see a lot of passing!

Freedom 76 at Grandview Speedway

Sept 20

$25,000 to win Small Block Mods

http://www.grandviewspeedway.com

Was lucky enought to see a weekly show at Grandview a few weeks ago. The feature winners in the 3 classes started 11, 13 and 15th.  This is a normal there.  The racing was over the top!  They handicap invert the heats and features on a weekly basis and this generates the best weekly racing program in the country.     The Freedom 76 will be draw/redraw with double file restarting.  Last year they had 70 cars for this event.

Outlaw 200 at Fulton Speedway

October 3-4

$20,000 to win Big Block Mods

http://www.fultonspeedway.com

This is one of the most spectacular events of racing!    Draw/redraw format, double file restarts, outlaw-type Big Block Mods with sideboards, high car count, WIDE racey 3/8 mile track and a 200 lap feature that starts over 40 cars.   So much 3 and 4 wide racing you can't watch it all.  If i could only attend 1 event a year, this would be it!

Get there early if you are going to the Freedom 76. Early as in like Thursday night, they take up nearly the entire parking area for camping and the seating is right on top of the track which means pack the dirt googles and prepare to be extremely dirty. Grandivew is full contact racing if you like that kind of thing. Other good race weekends include October 17-18 at Delaware Int'l Speedway for the DE state championships for Big Block, Small block, and crate Mods. Along with Super Lates & Crate Lates.

Also, an underated event in my mind the Turkey Chase weekend at Bridgeport in New Jersey the weekend before Thanksgiving, Friday night Small Block, 305 Sprints, and Stocks. Sat Big Blocks, Sportsman, and Stocks. Mostly 40 mods both nights.

Yes the Freedom 76 was rescheduled for this Saturday against the All Star Cup at New Egypt. So 25,000 to win at one track, and 10,000 to win at the track a couple hours away both for 358 Mods. Quite the drama over it out this way.
