Walt I had a great talk with Bo today. The sprints will be running the Outlaw Sprint Warrior rules used at Mercer. He was also going to look at (nothing definite) our stock car rules. Hopefully we can put together a couple races for the OSW between both tracks.Bo.....I assume by "Warrior Sprints" you mean with rules in line with what is being run at Mercer??

.Next weekend there a race paying 50k to win and 2k to start with a non qualifiers race paying 3k to win and 600 for 10th .. The supers are doing just fine
I'm saying at your home track weekly. I know supers are just fine overall (and my favorite to watch). That's like saying asphalt racing is booming because it pays millions to win Daytona.

Hi Mike!!!! Thanx for the info!! You guys have put together a good rules package at Mercer that has really grown the class and seems much better than what else is out there!!

The rules are basically similar. The biggest difference is OSW is not afraid of competition. OSW welcomes cars from other similar series to race with us if they have an intact sealed engine from another series. Series like Racesaver will not do that.

Track update. We have been hard at it clearing brush and weeds. The track is starting to look like something again. A long road ahead but one step closer. Heavy equipment moves in within the next few weeks!
Weekly classes have been decided although final rules have yet to be determined.
2015 Thunder Mountain classes.
305 Sprints (warriors)
Limited Late models (Local steel block Late model class) plus aluminum blocks may compete with 50# added in front of mid plate. all cars must weigh 2400#
Street stock (rules to be determined)
Pure stock (rules to be determined)
fwd (rules to be determined)
All rules will become official after contact with other local race facilities in efforts to unify classes between tracks.
we are eager to promote many specials during the 2015 season. we will entertain other classes as specials only.
Stayed tuned for more updates!

I want to rent the track for a test session. Is the surface in good enough condition for this to take place.

Its funny....the most vocal guys on this post have either never even seen the place, or have never ran there. As far as dedication, hard work, and motivation....I have known Bo for 16 years....and the only fools are those of you who bet against him.
All the negativity usually comes from people without enough determination to do what he is doing. The guys who can run their mouths faster than their cars.....keep fueling his fire, he eats this shit up.

The only "negativity" I mentioned was that I tought there to be one too many stock classes. You split fields that way. Neither class will get many cars. If you run one stock class (with rules in line with other area tracks) you stand the chance to get a better field.

Definitely the money and effort being exerted in some challenging conditions, it appears.
I hope they achieve the return they're looking for. It shouldn't be from lack of effort, waddayathink?
