Chris Schneider won, but as far as how much or any details I don't know. Never saw official word. Series seemed to start strong and interest kind of faded as the year went on.

I heard he got $3000 for winning the title

Did you realize the Penn Ohio Pro Stock Series has its own website? Racestud isn't the entire internet.

thanks... i thought chris might of won it but wasn't sure. wonder how many are staying with the series next year.

Loved the idea of this series. It actually got more support than I thought it would. Gotta be tough for 20 stock cars to travel in a time when you don't even see late model series' in this region with good car counts.

They had on their website the points champion will get a gaurenteed 10k.

I believe that $5000 was the original guarunteed point fund and as the year went on and they added additional sponsors it was raised to $10000.
Per Sharon Speedways night 2 press release Chris Schneider earned $3000 as the series chaampion.

It was 10,000 payout to all the top how ever many drivers, not 10,000 to the winner. Congrats to Shawn hooks on a good first year of the series and congrats to Chris on winning the championship!
