Theres a new track in town.  Salem Road Speedway in Greenville.  Their season runs from October thru March.  Classes ran are: Late Models, Sprints, and Modifieds.  It is held indoors on an 8 lane slot track.  The cars are 1/24th scale.

The track is located in Greenville off of Route 58 on Salem Road. This Saturday will kick off the third season of competition with a non points race.  Races are held every Saturday with doors opening at 10:00am.  Hot laps at 10:15  and racing starts at 11:05

Come on out and check it out.  There are cars available at the track for those who wish to give it a squeeze of the trigger.  Also new complete cars and parts (tires, gears, braids, etc) are available.

Below are a couple pics of the track and the cars I will be running this year.

Sounds like fun.  I've gone to the web to check out what's available for Parma 1/24th.  But I don't want to buy off the web, I'd rather buy at your place.  Here's my question, being you have a track can you get what's on the web for a wholesale price and make something on it, selling it for a comparable price ?  Either way if I do end up racing there, I would plan on buying what's needed through you and not off the internet(except for secret speed items like traction control).

What I'm thinking of doing is checking out the racing at your place.  I already figure I'm going to beat everyone and win every race, I'll just need to order the equipment.  Do you have any rules or is open rules, do what ever great innovative things I want to, ensuring I will win every race? ... :)

Looked to me like you have a well run race track .Everyone seemed to have a good time.  It was worth the 160mile drive. I just wish  I bought the car I looked at.

Racin' Ralph Spihaler has started racing with us.  Dale Blaney will begin running at SRS soon.  The driver count is picking up, and the racing is getting very competitive.  Come on out and check it out on Saturdays !!!
