130 different cars hit the track tonight at Lernerville. 11 Sprints, 17 Supers, 16 Big Blocks, 24 Stocks, 19 Rush Late Models, 11 Emods, 5 Rush Sportsman Mods, 26 Minis/Enduros, and 1 3/4 scale late model.

That 5m sprint car looked pretty good on YouTube. Not bad for a dude running his first laps up there.

It was not Sye Lynch's first time in a sprint car, nor was it the first tme he has run a sprint at Lernerville. He does have a bundle of raw talent.

Mike, you might be confusing Sye with Ed III. I don't remember Sye ever taking laps in any kind of car at Lernerville. Ed III has practiced and raced in one of his dad's 410's more than once. Sye ran the McMillin 5m car at PPMS, and the Lockhart 58 305 car at Mercer, but I can almost guarantee you I'd have known it if he had ever run a car at Lernerville.

Im almost sure it was his first laps at Lville!! Also, I don't think he has driven a 410 sprint before...Ran real well at Mercer

Pretty sure this was Sye's first ever laps at Lernerville. He ran the McMillin car at PPMS about three weeks ago and this was only his second time in a 410 Sprint Car.  He had a 2nd and 3rd at Mercer in the 305s in the Lockhart #58 on nights It didn't break.  He will be up for the 2014 "Western PA Rookie of the Year" award.
