The E mods and Sportsman had good car count and had a number of good drivers not make the A main.
The B's were battled hard!!!
Rush LM also had a good field of cars.
SLM & BB Mods were like a weekly show , OK
The 410 Sprints , oh boy I like Sprint car racing but when 360's & 305's make the big show! Ouch.
Something needs to happen with 410's.

the safety of those cars could use a rewriting in the rule book.Just going to say one thing. It's time to require at least a half cage in the Enduro cars. Surely hope he is going to be ok.

I see that nate smith transfered through the B, and finished 2nd in the A. Is that the car that caused all the fuss at dog hollow?
Yep. I imagine some of the Dog Swallowers were up in arms.

then you end up in the same place as the v8 enduros..the garbage can.Half cages will help a tiny bit. But someone's going to get killed, the cars go to fast they need to slow them down and need full cages especially door bars and racing seats and belts. roll overs are one thing but when someone gets hit in the drivers door from a car going between 50-70 mph that's gonna be it. The worst crash of the night was the red car that got rear ended in turn 3 from a car going full speed luckily they were ok, Matt is lucky to be ok as well.
I witnessed 193 cars start an enduro at Lernerville back in the day and it was quite a show, next one got over 200 cars and they decided to split it into 2 separate races I think that was the night a guy got killed..RIP.
then they mandated cages, fuel cells and it was the end of the low cost fun.
the 4 cylinders work because they are light with low horsepower,if anything put on a weight limit so guys like the 34 can't shove cars out of the way.. like what happened when the gold car got rolled.

Running anything without roll cages is asking for a serious injury. Especially on a big track like Lernerville with launching ramps if you go off the track. Having unsafe Enduro cars in an event all comes down to the track trying to make money at the risk of the drivers involved. Although ultimately, the drivers that get into a car without roll cages are also making a poor decision. They should require roll cages, which means losing ticket revenue for less entries. But far better than having a track where a fatality or paralyzing injury happens!
Our "support" classes have an excellent turn out for this event. The "headliners" are bascially a regular show spread out over 2 days.

Low cost fun in lieu of safety, seriously? Why risk serious injury or death because you wanted to save $500 or $700 dollars because your too cheap or can't afford to put a roll cage or fuel cell in there. If you can't afford that then you have no reason being out there. Racing has its known risks but when you can spend a little bit of money and help better protect yourself as a driver that seems like an easy answer to me.

I always looked at enduro cars the same as demo derby cars..cheap fun in throwaway cars.Low cost fun in lieu of safety, seriously? if these guys want to seriously race there is a class for that.

There is a easy fix to the speed. Water the track like they did in the past.

But all other classes have strict safety rules why not this class?
I agree with tdietz10 race seat, cage, race belts....., you can get used seats and belts cheap.
Another way to eliminate accidents is stop the blocking!
The 34 car is the odds on favorite to win every enduro and I watch car after car that try to take him out.
I hope everyone is OK and we learn from this, no one wants to see someone get hurt.

Water the track?
After you water it and gets run in the track would get faster.
