You're going to need a better format if you want to appeal to fans in this area.  Locking drivers into the feature after qualifying is an idiotic concept.  The sport is called racing, so make them race their way into the feature.

Good idea who ever sets fast time you remove 7 of their plus wires down 1 plug wire until the 7th fastest . Then take the 8th qualifier and make him race on 3 flat tires down 1 flat tire until the 11th place car and who Evers car chassis dynos the lowest number starts on the pole for all events and starts 3 laps ahead and you throw a competiton yellow every 5 laps where no one gets their lap back. If you do all of gear head and the 2 other jack offs on this planet who think like him will give you endless blow jobs !!!!! As long as you can guarantee him none of the 20 fastest cars will ever. Win a race he will end over and grab his ankles until you tell him not to !!!

At a race when they fastest car has to be twice as fast as the other cars to actually win it's not called racing it's called liberal ass everyone gets a lucking trophy bullshit . And your stupid ass thinking is why America no
Longer has the worlds number 1 economy.

Since when is making everybody run a heat race an outrageous concept?  It happens here in the north at every event.  You've been hanging around Bloomer too long.  Why don't we just run time trials and give the check and the trophy to the fastest qualifier? Why would you bother even owning a race car when you don't even want to race in a heat race?

There is nothing wrong with the Lucas oil format . You would cream your pants over the scenario I laid out . All you want is to make sure the fastest car doesn't win and that's not what racing is about. You would love bracket racing the slowest car wins often

it has nothing to do with the fastest car not winning,it has to do with giving fans a show. you keep preaching about straight up starts and dry as the Sahara dessert tracks like they somehow help the sport? PPMS chased off half the fanbase during the late 90's when Ben would make the track to his spec motors advantage..and it has never recovered.

All I did was ask for heat races...then you argue because you don't like heat races...then you say there's nothing wrong with the Lucas Oil format, which includes heats. So you're basically arguing with yourself at this point?

Gear head you have made it very clear that I very everyone and run 50 heats on passing points is the only format you like . But even with that bullshit with the weight they give qualifying teams you still have the fast cars up front when it matters.

What does that have to do with this topic?

It costs 20 dollars a lap to run a fuKing super super late plus getting there and back and you would blow loads in your pants if they made us run 10 heat races with a full invert every race to
Determine a starting line up but your not willing to pay 150to get in the stands to support a purse to
Make a stupid format like that viable . As long as the fastest car wins the format is fair . When the fastest car has to
Compete against other racers AND the system is liberal ass socialist bullshit.

Nobody minds the fastest car winning, but if the fastest car wins every week starting in the front row, you won't have fans for very long.

I
Finally met Stan Lester and he seems like a good guy , especially compared to the jack offs around here. Hopefully the ultimate supers get some races signed !!!! This is exactly the kind of series this area is missing !!

How do you what I am willing to pay? All I said is everybody should run heats, now you're just rambling nonsensically about stuff that nobody has even brought up in this topic.

And it's not about the fastest car winning, it's about the best driver winning. There have been plenty of fast cars over the years that had piss poor drivers that couldn't even make a feature. If you just want the fastest car to win then we should only have time trials and then everybody should go home. Everything changes when drivers have to race against other cars and attempt to pass them. Don't forget that the sport is called racing, not qualifying.

So
Your ideal format is qualify them invert no more than a transfer spot for heats then straight up off heat finish ??? Perfect !!!!! I agree

Hey Jon I think you should come back and sponsor my race this year after reading this! We qualify, straight up start the heats, top 2 to dash and we only invert the dash line up! Dash finish straight up to feature! How about Hodgkiss Construction fast qualifier? 🏁

It's not ideal, but much better than what the Ultimate and Ray Cook series do!
