Ladies and gentlemen;

'

Since the split of FASTRAK in the NE there have been lots and lots of rumors. Now is the time to get it straight. You get the answer from me and obviously if I am willing to put myself out there on a open forum it will be the truth. No need in wondering, no need in listening to rumors, I will answer you and address it right here.

Keep this in mind. I am not going to reply to accusations. I will reply to questions. Don't accuse me, ask me. Thats what this is about to begin with. I would appreciate if you would put your name on your question so I know who I am dealing with. No need in me trying to reply to an accusatory question to what might be one of my competitors.

There will be no repercussions to your "true" questions and there will be no replies to accusatory statements.

Thanks

Stan Lester

How are the plans for an Ultimate Series in the northeast coming? What tracks have inquired?

Thanks for the question.

The meeting was not as well attended as I had hoped, but then again I don't guess any of them ever have been LOL. Right now we have and I am estimating from the teams that have asked me to do it, but probably 10-12 teams interested or present.

Tracks, I really haven't booked one date yet as of course the first thing the tracks ask is "how many teams do you have" and the first thing the teams ask is "how many tracks do you have"? LOL. Its a pretty delicate balance.

I have spoken with Bob at Eriez about the amount of the purse. I have mentioned it to Raceway 7. Wesley has talked to Tyler and they were interested so he says plus there is a track in S OH (that I can't mention yet) and I-77. Frank from Mercer did talk to me about it Sunday as well but again, nothing booked and nothing tried to be booked.

The $20,000 to win Commonwealth at VMS would be a national event whereby you could count it towards your points. There is a $10,000 to win US 100 at VMS, a $15,000 to win at Junction City KY and $10,000 to win at County Line that could be counted.

All that being said we don't have one race actually booked in the area. The meeting yesterday was a "interest? meeting from the teams in the area.

Maybe that wasn't too confusing LOL.

Thanks for the question.

If I depart from Lernerville going 62 MPH and my friend departs from Raceway 7 going 47 MPH, how long would it take for us to meet each other?

None of the series have any schedule or signed contracts. The ulms is too far north for guys from Pittsburgh. The 3 state flyers go clean to virgina and don't have anything closer than Bedford . Last time the UFO ran they had 5 races. I don't think ulms ever had more than 1 fulltime car . The 3sf followers are from
Down towards Hagerstown . I agree there needs to be a series within 2.5 hours or so of Pittsburgh that has around 15 races .

Other than you, Keith Barbara, Jared Miley, John Garvin and maybe Alex Ferree, who else do you think would follow a Pittsburgh centric series?

Hesston has been throwing a lot of teasers on facebook for next year. Have you reached out to them? That's a good track for bigger events and can draw from west and east.

you have to start somewhere . They were talking 4k to win 400 to start minimum which makes sense for anyone not afraid to buy tires who has open motors . It makes zero sense to run top flight shit for 1100 or 1500 to win. Stan is right with strength in numbers , I agree 5 series won't work but if all those guys follow 1 you could have a serious point fund and draw crowds that would
Make tracks money !! Just like fastrack used to be in our area . Someone else stuck their dick in the stew and now no one has anything !! I don't care what series it is as long as it's organized and enforces the rules equally for everyone and pays public decent. If you have 5 series they will all be weak , not make any money , not be able to pay any kind of point fund and will eventually fail.

I wasn't being confrontational with my question, I was just wondering who you think would follow such a series. I know you went to the meeting, did you recognize any other drivers/teams there?

But I definitely agree, one really solid series is definitely better than four or five not so solid series'. If this ends up panning out, I know it'll be run pretty professionally. That's a good start.

I can't speak for any of the other people you
Mentioned but you would think they would all be a possibility. Like stan said in a previous post when you approach the tracks they want to know what drivers you have and when you approach the drivers they want to know what tracks you have . What ever series wants to get something going better start now before the tracks have their sechedules

As a side note stan has proven he can put together serious point funds. Rambo frankland just got 15k for winning their title and how much money did max Blair make over the years ? What kind of point fund have any of the other series you mentioned paid out ??

I still do not understand what happened between Stan and Vikki that caused her to go off on her own and start the RUSH tour?

I think the biggest problem is communication. stan is down south and everything goes through him. when tracks need to know something quickly they have to call stan in north Carolina to get an answer. Vicki is right in our area and she can personally go and visit with the promoters right away instead of waiting for someone to drive 14 hours away.even when fastrak had a person up here they still had to get ahold of stan to make a decision.when they had bryan working it was a little better but he was still in north Carolina.i am sure fasrak is better organized down south because he is there to take care of the issues that both the promoters and his drivers have. if the late model series comes to pa we will still have the same problems with the decisions all coming from down south, and as far as eriez we do not know for sure if bobby we still be the owner next season. just my opinion not trying to start anything.

Vicky was right lucking here running the north east !!!! She was hired to run the north east to alleviate the problem you speak of !!! So now what ??? You have all of the crate guys running for jack shit and car counts everywhere shrinking

yes, you are right! and when her and stan were running it together it was working fine because she had the authority to make the calls and meet with the track and the drivers. but since the split there has not been anybody with that same authority that Vicki had without calling stan for a final decision. again promoters need the answer now. they do not need to hear I will get back with you on that.if you have all these questions why not call Vicki and ask her. she can always be reached about your concerns.

2 problems fella number 1. I don't race crate cars
2. I don't talk to lowlife back stabbers. She lucked everyone in this area who runs a crate out of the chance to compete for a serious point fund all to try putting money in her pockets and screwed promoters out of huge car counts at touring races. I am a die hard Reagan conservative and I operate my life and business on the principals of right and wrong , I refuse to associate it talk I anyone who doesn't . Crate cars were a great idea with 1 series , 1 set of rules and 1 set of tires. Now they are dying a slow painful death like every other division .
