If you have not heard Charley had a stroke and is in Pittsburgh at UPMC  I just talked with Brandon and he has been taken for emergency surgery to help in an attempt to restore his health.

I have Brandons authority to post this I will only report what I am given permission to and would thank you if you will do the same, we do have the responsibility to Pray for Charley and his family.

Blessings

Chaplain Bill

Charly is out of surgery and will not be able to have any visits until thr surgical team gives the ok please as per the family request refrain until it is ok with them but remember your prayers can accomplish more than a visit.

Thanks Bill

The latest news from Charleys son Brandon is he is stable and they are reducing some of the drugs to observe his progress from his second operation ,he is resting and does recognize Brandons voice and responds to some voice command.

These are all good signs but it could be a longer period of time to determine if and how much damage has been done, the continued prayer therapy is definitly needed when Brandon tells me I will tell you when visits would be welcome, you can go to Presbyterian hospital web site and send E cards to him in his name and i would say that would be very welcome at this time.

Brandon ask me if I would come and see Charlie today and I was happy to go so I drove down at 1:00pm and visited with him for a while he knew me and answerd a couple questions ,he is in intensive care and his visiting time is set by the hospital he realy needs to rest and we need to allow them the time they need to take care of him.

Realizing he has only been there a few days from my experience he has made good progress and that is the goal progress each day until he is recovered completly  please send him E cards and touch base with the family they will need your support in the future ,above all keep praying for him and them they are all in a battle.

Thanks
