I did not see a single race listed for Sharon, Mercer, Lernerville, Raceway 7, Eriez or Tri-City, maybe they could jump into one of those TBA spots....

Lernerville, Mercer & Sharon have all scheduled races with the All Stars.  Unless something changes they won't be appearing on any Renegade schedule. Right now the score is 6 to 4 in favor of the All Stars as to scheduled races in the western PA area. However, the situation remains very fluid and I would not be surprised to see some changes by the time we get into serious racing in May.

GOOD RACING TO ALL!!!

Walt

From the Renegade schedule press release........

“We’re waiting on a few tracks to come on board during that time,” Helms said. “I hope we can add a couple more new tracks, but if that doesn’t happen most of those dates will be picked up by tracks already on the schedule.”

In other news, Tri-City Raceway Park in Franklin, Pa., has committed to at least one date in 2015 and is working on a possible Western Pennsylvania Speedweek

I'm not a sprint car fan, but that race at Jacksonville is going to be amazing.  That is one cool bullring!

I raced the 2 day show at Mercer with the Allstars. It was a Saturday & Sunday show. After each night of racing we were paid from the Allstar staff not Mercer. Come Monday I went to deposit the 2 checks and were not able to, due to the checks being post dated for that Wednesday, 3 & 4 days after the race was completed. Those checks should have been dated for the days raced and not 3 to 4 days after. I think Guy Webb didn't have the money and had to wait for the rest of his pay from Mercer to clear before being able to pay the other racers.

I sincerely hope that these tracks will get on board with the Renegades, if they do you could see some of the highest car counts at these tracks. The All stars are not going to last. I just hope not too many tracks have paid Guy too much money because I feel they are going to be out of pocket that money.

The Jacksonville race is really not a Renegade race. Thier race staff has posted on hoesheads that it is an unscantioned event, that the renegade series is encouraging their drivers to attend.

I really hope this series succeeds, but it does worry me with them scheduling so many Central PA races. A few races against the Posse sure, but having this many will have guys start dropping off tour. They aren't going to want to tow to Port Royal to be a DNQ when they can run at Fremont or Atomic.

it appears that the ASCoC will be more of an outlaw series than the WoO, as the original All Stars were intended.....Wednesday nights across eastern Ohio and western pa.......I remember Opperman and Allen as Original Outlaws..........WTG Bud Miller.

Believe this will work itself out.

First off all just want to clarify that this had nothing to do with Mercer since the money came from the All Stars.

Second, I am not one to gossip, but felt it was time to let people know how shady of a business guy that Webb is. I am pretty sure that it is illegal to post date a check without notifying the person receiving it ahead of time.

Hopefully this answer your question/concern.

I am also a big fan of Mercer and wish Bill Altman the best of luck.

I this Webb is a toss off but Eldora pays you by check the next week , ppms pays you by check the next week , Lucas races pay you by check the next week ...... Handing people cash at the end of the night isn't really practical .....

I also hope Mercer didn't give much money to Mr. Webb.  You know him. The 3/4 owner of the All Stars.

Now they are towing to Nebraska lol. They better hope fuel prices stay low. They'd better tune up the haulers going to put a lot of miles on those rigs.

Why don't you post the whole story........

National Sprint League/Renegade Sprint Series Team up in 2015!

Windom, MN (January 15, 2015) – The National Sprint League and the Renegade Sprint Series are joining forces for a pair of weekends in 2015.  The National Sprint League is headquartered in the Upper Midwest with approximately 30 races in seven states on its schedule.  Based in Ohio, the Renegade Sprint Series has over 35 dates on its schedule for 2015.

On Friday, October 2 and Saturday, October 3, the NSL and the Renegades will face off at the I-80 Speedway near Greenwood, Nebraska.  The “Fearless 410 Finale” will serve as a season championship for the NSL and pay $10,000 to Saturday night’s winner.  The banked 4/10-mile oval will be the perfect showdown for both series!

Events are currently being scheduled in Ohio in late October in which the series will meet again. “This is very exciting,” says NSL founder Tod Quiring.  “It will be great to have the Renegade Sprint Series drivers here in the Midwest to take on the NSL.  We have several drivers who travel to the World Finals in Charlotte in November and this may give us more heading that way this year…so dates in Ohio at the end of October are perfect for them on their way to that event.  This is a win-win for both series, the tracks and for the fans.”

Possible venues for the NSL/Renegade showdown in Ohio include Millstream Speedway in Findlay, and Atomic Speedway near Chillicothe.  The specific dates for those events will be announced soon. “Currently we have Atomic and Millstream scheduled for October 3 and 4, and we’re looking to move those dates back in the month to accommodate the NSL drivers,” says Shane Helms of the Renegade Series.  “This will be a great event for those tracks, the fans of Ohio and the Midwest, and the drivers as well.  We’re looking forward to taking on the NSL!”

The Renegade Sprint Series and the National Sprint League will also be a part of the Friday, May 15“Sprints Gone Wild” event at Jacksonville Speedway in Jacksonville, Illinois.  $5,000 will go to the winner of the main event that night.

Among drivers indicating they will be running with the Renegade Sprint Series are former Knoxville Nationals and All Stars champion, Tim Shaffer, multi-time All Star champs Chad Kemenah and Greg Wilson, Randy Hannagan, new National Sprint Car Hall of Fame inductee Danny Smith, Dean Jacobs, second generation driver Cole Duncan, third generation driver Caleb Helms, Travis Philo, Andrew Palker and Ryan Myers.

The current membership of the NSL is at twenty-seven, and includes Hall of Famer, Danny Lasoski, multi-time Knoxville and Huset’s champion, Terry McCarl, World Finals winner, Brian Brown, seven-time IRA champ, Bill Balog, defending Knoxville champ, Ian Madsen, Dusty Zomer, multi-time WSS champ, Brooke Tatnell, multi-time Huset’s champ, Mark Dobmeier, defending Fall Brawl winner, Wayne Johnson and Lynton Jeffrey.

NO, PPMS only has two races.  They had three dates but gave up the one in September so the Renegades could sanction a race at Selinsgrove. The other two on the schedule are at Bedford.   Tri-City will probably be included but so far no schedule has been released and Tri-City is not on the released Renegade schedule.
