Is Chub out of  his slump ?  By the looks of things @ BRP he just might be on the road to recovery. Let's hope so ....

I'm sure he will run better in the long horn , but Florida results have zero effect on the rest of the season

Legend, can you elaborate on your statement? I'm not sure I understand why racing in Florida has "zero effect" on the rest of the season? The competition is better in Florida, outside of Crown Jewel events, than most regular WoO shows.

I'll spell it out for you ..... Some guys always run good in Florida and not soo well outside of Florida , some guys usually run bad in Florida and are fast everywhere else .

Not sure Chris Madden would be a good example. The guy won 10 features last year traveling around. FYI, a guy might get banned for uttering N.D.R.L.... JK

Chub and Boom are both in Longhorns. It's about time Chub made a switch, he'll actually be somewhat relevant for a change again.

Dale Jr. I would agree with you, but the Legend already told us that running good in Florida has no relevance on the rest of the season. So don't expect a thing the rest of the year from Chub, Richards, or Moyer!

Josh will give Darrell a run for his money, and I would lay money on that. Wouldnt surprise me one bit if Josh wins a championship this year, not saying he will, not saying he wont. Chub hasnt been relevant in any race, local or national, in a few years, so anything past a top five is an accomplishment for that camp at this point and if they work with Rumley it wouldnt be surprised to see Chub and Boom both win a race or two at tracks that suit them because these longhorns on jri shocks are no slouches no matter where they unload.

Let me break it down for you 70 and under
IQ crowd .... There are guys who are fast everywhere in all conditions and there are guys who are only fast when it's hammer down , the hammer down only guys usually run well in Florida early in the year and struggle when it drys out.

I'm sure you have a high IQ until you start typing on your keyboard. All knowledge goes out the window when you start typing. First watch the videos from racing at East Bay, Bubba's, and Volusia. Every race I've watched this year the tracks are slick with no cushion, hardly a "hammerdown" surface.

Have you ever thought that maybe just maybe major touring series have deals with tire manufactures, Drivers having tire deals, Series Management requesting track prep a certain way? All chassis manufactures build their cars to race at the national level. So just about every track surface at the national touring level will have a very simular surface by feature time. The X factor is mother nature.

So now I read a post from you about track record at Eldora (Donnie Moran thread). You say "when Eldora is heavy"? So my question is to Mr. IQ: What is the difference between a heavy track surface and a hammerdown track surface?

Not defending the legend but on WOOLMS Facebook page there is an interview with Chub stating the samething he said on here about being good in Florida doesn't mean anything.

LV Fan I saw that too. You left out the part "but was a big plus for us too" Just saying. The point is racing in Florida means a lot to a lot of teams, especially when they are trying new ideas.
