I see Nascar is going to let Kurt come back!  They didn't disclose his penance though??????

MSN homepage saying Kurt Busch is not going to be charged. Any recourse now for Kurt in regards to missing two races for no legit reason or at least an apology from nascar?

Nascar is off to a real bad start this year, for sure. Looks like they really jumped the gun on this accusation, and I'd bet Kurt has a real case against them.

Andrew Carnegie was right when in 1874 he stated:

“The first generation builds the business, the second makes it a success, and the third wrecks it”

Makes me wonder about Mayfield........

No fan of either of the Busch boys, but NASCR is really bending Kurt over the old hickory stump. I'm guessing that maybe his legal team threatened some sort of defamation suit? No matter what, NASCAR's product sucks right now. That Atlanta race from just awful.

Drivers and owners are viewed as independant contractors, thus Nascar is more like a club. Not much Busch can do.. Except what they tell him to.

Just think if they falsely accused one of their "diversity" drivers what the outcry would be. As rigged as Nascar is, he could not sue them and ever race there. Every time he got in the lead a phony debris caution would come out, and every car he gets in would fail inspection. His best bet would be to race there as long as he can right up to the statute date, then lay one on them before going to Indycar or F1 (if Gene Haas would consider him.)

Agreed. The France family and their minions would find a way f**k with him if he tried to sue.

Wondering why NASCAR is still "powerful". I'll bet their attendance is down 75% from their heyday.

If I was Kurt, I'd be looking into other driving opportunities before I ever went back to NASCRAP. He's not going to get a fair shake there ever again.

T.V. revenue. How many tracks have actually removed seats? They don't care about live attendance.

The reason Kurt will want to remain in Nascar is the MONEY!  Thats why they all want to be there!  Not for the racing!  I have never known him to be an open wheel guy!  So a move to open wheel racing would be out of the question for him!  (Unlike maybe Tony Stewart).  So I doubt he he is going to try to get an Arca ride either!    Kust Busch will be running Nascar as long as they will have him!

Sort of off the subject...But did any of you see the vidio of Jeremy Mayfield trying to qualify a dirt car???  I  think it was a Carolina Clash Race!  Hit the front stretch wall all by himself!  Sort of re-enforces what happens to your career after Nascar

He probably Never saw it coming !
