That's because you haven't seen the body. When you see the Gremlin or Chevy body mounted, you'll think it's vintage. Which year Chevy do you prefer? And he'll be out there having fun like we all should be.

It's a 2001 bicknell chassis with modifications to make it a classic Barnett chassis. If you were aware of the rules and specifications of the club the chassis doesn't have to be "vintage." The reason behind having a 2001 chassis and making modifications is to make sure chassis meets safety standards. Please don't steal pictures from other drivers just to say nasty things. It doesn't make you look all that bright.

Dint look like a pre year 2000 year chassis as the rules listed on there web site says pre year 2000 only that's y I ask.

So I can find any year chassis and put some square tubing over the rear and that makes it legal?

The box tubing in the rear is not what makes the chassis legal. The chassis is legal without it. 2001 and 2000 chassis are the same. The box tubing was added to make it look more like the gremlin he raced previously. The chassis specifications are listed on the website. You could build your own chassis as long as it is in spec.

No it's like 80.00 for first or last. The series is about fun not money. We do it because it shows young fans where racing has grown from.

Actually Curt, you have the option to build a 'retro' chassis with 2x4 up and over the year and a front clip that maintains the pre 2001 configuration. Les has basically put together this type of chassis.

Just a heads up to you and your team, it was decided at our AGM by the entire Club that after your teams behavior at Dog Hollow where 2 of the Committee were abused in public, that your team never be allowed to race with the PA Vintage Dirt Modifieds in future at all.

Best of luck in your future racing endeavors.

Dingo

Curt? My names Terry im 68 years old and have seen a lot of tracks, classes and clubs fail threw the years. They all follow the same path as the PA vintage modified are going down. They start a good then thing they get laxed on there rules race teams and people see it and leave or quit following the series or going to the track and before they know it there's nothing left. Im not the only person that see this happening. Hate to see a good thing get ruined by blind officials
