Local Sports Radio Announcer wins PA Broadcasting Award

 

Dow Carnahan of Latrobe’s 1480 WCNS wins 2015 Outstanding Radio Coverage of Sports award from the Pennsylvania Association of Broadcasters

 

Latrobe, PA, March 18, 2015:  The Pennsylvania Association of Broadcasters have selected Dow Carnahan of 1480 WCNS, located in Latrobe, PA, as the 2015 Outstanding Radio Coverage of a Local Sports Event recipient for his coverage of the March 1, 2014 coverage of the St. Vincent College Basketball- PAC Championship Game. Carnahan has covered local news, Latrobe High School and St. Vincent College sports for over 30 years. He has received various other awards throughout his career including the Outstanding Local Radio Newscast Award in 2013 and 2014. He will be recognized by the Pennsylvania Association of Broadcasters on May 4^th in Hershey, PA.
