The season was over in October, why would there be rushing around this week no matter what they were "trying to have?"

the track I can understand from all the snow and cold temps and whatnot.
Cars I feel like should be ready to go... Unless youve been in progress of having a baby the past few months of course haha

Not when you buy a car in February and have to change stuff over to fit track rules

Funny, some people that sit in the stands on here think that drivers and crew's don't get burnt out from racing end of march till end of October and want to rebuild a car for 5 months instead of taking time off to spend with their family and friends who they rarely get to spend time with for 7 months out of the year. No, Andrew just has been involved with a race team for years that worked on a car during the FOUR months that you have to work on a racecar. I completely understand if you want to spend time with family (luckily mine was all into racing so it was easier to handle the two), or if you get put on shifts of work that dont allow you to work on a racecar every night, or family matters such as having a baby (congrats Chuck). However if you are unable to find time over a four month period to slowly work on getting your car ready, how do you survive a full season? I am talking about people who follow points and all that nonsense, but if you have no intentions on racing week and in and week out then I understand the lack of work being done throughout the winter months.
But hey I guess all race teams are different and I respect each one in how they do it, congrats on the new car, im assuming its a Stock Car if you are changing rules over.
