When people take sponsor money and don't race do the give the money back or do they just slide the sponsor the ole horsecock ?? I have always wondered this .....

I would say yes, but it might depend on what was agreed to between the sponsor and one being sponsored....I had a buddy of mine that built a car and had 4 or 5 sponsors (nothing major) that each gave him a few hundred dollars. He only raced 3 or 4 times before he had to call it quits and he gave all his sponsors their money back...I have another buddy who is building his son a car and has lined up a few sponsors that already committed to sponsoring his son but he will not take a dime from them until car is completely ready to race...
