that makes almost every track. I guess its time to start finding a new hobby and only racing every now and then it looks like as if these tracks cancel every week.

If you would have seen Lernerville's crowd last night then you would understand why all the other tracks have canceled this week. Mercer, Sharon, Pittsburgh, Stateline, Marion Center and Dog Hollow. No warmer and rain in the forecast!! Hagerstown has already canceled their Lucas race and it looks like rain in Richmond for the Cup race tonight. Last night was one where only the die hard race fans come out and tonight would have been no better!! And race tracks need more than the die hards to turn a profit!! The "casual" race fan won't come out on a weekend with this kind of weather and tracks need the casual fans to stay in business to give all of die hards a place to go to the races!!! Some of you guys just can't see the forest for the trees!!
GOOD RACING!!

Better crowd than most tracks will pull for the same forecast, plus im sure they still made money! Not the big money they are use to but enough for the turn out.

I know Mercer has a reputation for cancelling early, but this one probably makes a lot of sense for them. I can't see them having much of a crowd.

Windy and cold, the sun is shinning, but wait till the sun goes down. It will be cold.

So if I am reading this correctly, if the weather is subpar perfect, then all the business that rely on perfect weather should follow suit..... okay I see Dairy Queen, Brusters and if Cedar Point was open would all be shut down because of "subpar" weather..... BS.... if you don't think racing is a gamble then you are blind as a bat..... life is a gamble.....which tires to use, how much stagger....etc it is all a gamble...so is owning a race track.... there is NO guarantee that X amount of people will show, but I bet all the drivers would be there and that's where you make the money....I know of three teams that were loaded and ready to roll until your pulled the plug...AND the weather is calling for ZERO (0) percent chance of rain.... we live in Western PA where we are used to the chilly weather, I was down in North Carolina for the world finals(2 times) and it was chilly, did they call it? NO.....I am tired of the excuses...Thank you Mercer for saving me at least $100.00 dollars and a sunburn and I am just one person plus his son....at least I got my grass and yard work done in this pathetic weather....

Hmmm. Mid 60's low 40s next Saturday night. Same temp as right now. cancel the all stars I assume? If forecasted temp was reason for cancelling this week one can assume make other plans for next weekend also?

Mercer might as well join the ranks of Tri-City......specials only....if they don't want to race quit listing weekly races and just race specials....tired of the BS excuses....

Does Frank know what channel the weather is on? I can understand Sharon calling it because they are still trying to get the new surface incorporated into the existing surface.....what is really Mercers excuse? A small puddle in the pits.....
