Race at Tri-City on Sunday May 17.   Don't know the rest of their schedule unless it has been posted to their website since I last looked.

602 or 604 Rush legal engine. This race will be run under the open or "Ed Laboon Memorial" rules at PPMS. I'm not sure if Shawn will have a base rules package for his entire series or not. But with the race less than a month away we are going to use last year's rules which worked very well. Also, the Miley's have added a $100 bonus to the first Sportsman winner using a Crate this year for any race at PPMS. So if it happens to occur during this race the bonus would be $350, or $2,367 to win.

This show keeps growing and getting better and better every year. I no we will never no, but, I would like to see what kind of back gate draw and fan following this race brings in. These guys are traveling well, and if other promotional types would break this down. I think if the purses where a little stronger you would see more teams and some very good racing. It doesn't have to be a rush crate race or a SLM race to be a good race. It also doesn't have to be a over priced ticket.

skull, while I agree guys should be able to run open motors against them, I'm not against guys making extra money for just racing.fields are shrinking, and any extra money helps keep cars at the track is a good thing.

This series will actually cause a decline in cars in the class over time.  Their rules are much too open.  Look at tracks like Sharon that used to have over 40 stocks weekly.  They are lucky to get 15 now with their open rules.   They didn't like Lernerville because Lernerville still has some actual rules on the class.

I don't disagree at all. Like Huck said, too many teams already have their engine programs. They shouldn't be told they have to purchase crates.
