wow the street-stock class  is totally screwed!!!! i would say you need to open this class up a little more and  totally abandon the few cars you do have around.   9 cars in this class total and only 7 start the feature and three finish ,why not open the class up a little and run quick  change rear ends and old rocket chassis just  get rid of these tired old guys who actually have cars but won't run with these late model wanna be's seems to me if you would have listened to me about 5 years ago there would still be 20 cars racing in this class.bitch at me if you want but every track around that is running these goofed up rules don't have any street stocks but their strictly stock / pure stock classes are fine i was told that roaring knob only had a hand full of cars when the lucas oil late -models were there. good luck getting cars in this class until the rules are brought back like the once were .

Ya think maybe the $45 pit admission at the Roaring Knob Lucas race may have had something to do with the low support from the street stock teams that night......

Many of the cars in SS look nothing like 'stock'. There are some nice looking pure stocks but even in that class some of tbe bodies are getting out of hand IMO.

There was a pure stock at Dog Hollow Sunday night with the old leight 80's early 90's buick Regal aftermarket body, sharp lookin car. Most street stocks and pure stocks in southern Pa, Md, and Va still have the stock appearing bodies.

The look of the cars isn't the problem.  It's much easier to repair and maintain aluminum flat bodies.  The problem with the Street Stocks is the how open the motors and everything else has become.

I dunno. I personally like the looks of a stock appearing race car. When I look at pics of old late models, it neo.gs back great memories. I think id rather watch a feature with those than these so called 'stock cars'. They should at least make the pure stocks look close to a stock car.

There were 4 or so of the late model wanna be street stocks from Marion center at Hesston Saturday. The 358 stock appearing street stocks are definately underpowered compared to the outlaw stocks. There were a couple 358 stocks that were competitive with them til they were taken out in wrecks. Saw on Hesstons Facebook page they would look at  where the cars finish at other tracks before they make any weight, spoiler changes. looks like the munster mobiles are here to stay.

The pure stock class is fine?  Yes, that thriving division, according to the "full race report" post, had 12 and started 7 in the feature.

If at first you don't succeed, then maybe you just suck.
