Really??? Paying everyone else at the track but, not late models??

Sorry that is just wrong! Drivers put out lots of money to come to a track to put on a show at least they can do is pay them at the end of the night be it cash or check.

Back when I was still helping with my buddy's steel block he got paid at Marion Center and Dog Hollow (when Michny ran it)at the end of the night.

I can't remember if Challenger, Hummingbird, and Thunder Mountain done the same or not but I think they did.

I know there are tracks to do that but I
Don't think it's an issue if they don't. I've been to a lot of tracks and very few paid you that night

Challenger, Mercer, Lernerville, Knox, Marion Center all paid cash at the end of the night. Don't know what policy is currently. My ??? is why would they pay everyone else and not the late models ?

Racers need to get thier money so they can race again next week!  Checks are fine!  But they need to get to the racer by Wednesday of the next week!  I was told by a racer that was at Dog Hole that Dan called him on Wednesday with a question about his 1099?????  That means Dan was not addressing the payout till Wednesday????  Needs to be addressed Monday Morning if you are going to mail out checks!  Just My .02

Not to sound out of touch but of you NEED your 100 dollar check to race the next week you should not be racing. As long as the checks get to the racer before the next race I don't see an issue with that

I don't know if its the same this year or not, but last year (for late models) you had to go to the pay window and sign the payout sheet and then they would mail your check.  And I think the check did not arrive until Friday. That made no sense to me what-so-ever.

Express man you are correct, checks are fine as long as they are mailed out in a timely manner, Quite frankly i do not understand the reasoning for this method.

Check was signed for. We were told last night that the last of the checks were mailed Thursday.

Jim Mickney went belly up because he couldn't pay out.....and Marion Center doesnt pay $hit to begin with....unless the track has a " Big Money" backer, you are going to have times when $$$$ become an issue.....if they aint paying, go somewhere else and you will soon find out the "grass isnt any greener there....

REMEMBER::::if you want to make thousands of dollars in racing, start with Millions!!!!
