If you missed Lernerville tonight, you missed fantastic racing!! The Big block Mods put on a show you wouldn't believe,

and the sprints & late models did the same...And, as usual, the Sportsman's put on their normal great show.....

Great racing, lotsa cars and lotsa passing!! Track was in great shape, little dust, but no Mercer.....

Little dust???? Yes the mod feature was intense, but after that it was practically a one groove follow the leader dust bowl. Terrible sprint and late model race. Should have went to Bedford or Dog Hollow.

Bedford or Dog Hollow, my fat hairy hind end. The drivers I wanted to see weren't racing there. They all run at Lernerville on Fridays. Some of them had pretty shitty nights, but they were there.

It was very dusty after the mods.
They did put on a great race in the mods and the late models was fun watching Alex Ferree come from 10th to second in about 8 or 10 laps.
Sprint winner Bowser even said it was hard to see in the one corner because of the dust plu he was second feature on the track.

My question is, how the hell does Jim Fosnaught run side by side with Corey for 12 laps, yet he wins by a straightaway. Give me a break.

If you indeed have clay there, and you have track prep people who have a clue how to prepare a track for racing you shouldn't have a dust problem....Better buy some DUST GOOGLES!!!!

Hey wellerfan....if u didn't notice Corey's car in 3 and 4 early in the race almost coming to a complete stop and pushing because of that u weren't paying to much attention. Had some mechanical issues early on in the race that eventually went away the last half of the race. And if jimmy would have worried about himself instead of trying to slide up and block Corey it would have been a much closer race

Accept all wins and losses graciously. Racing is a hobby. Maybe even an escape from daily stresses for some. It's suppose to be fun and that's why I do it. When you lose sight of that then it's not worth participating anymore. I have other things in my life that are way more important. I've been blessed with a great group of people around me and God has been guiding me. I fail at times but you've got to fail to win. It's those failures that are the key lessons we learn from to correct certain behaviors to reach that ultimate goal of perfection (none of us are perfect and never will be but striving for perfection in God's eyes is what's important). So to get back to the subject of racing, the C33 won bc he had a better car at the end. It was a good, fun, clean race and I'm sure that's how the fans viewed it also. It feels good to give the fans what they want and that's good racing. At the end of the day, it's just racing though. We leave the tracks we compete at and go back to our daily lives. Whatever that may be. God willing we'll be back the following week to hopefully give the fans more thrills and maybe even bring more fans into the stands to keep this sport alive for years to come. See you all at a race track soon. God bless.

Foz20j Well said. It is all about having FUN, and giving the fans some close racing. Thats what brings them back. Just keep it real.      Like i was told when i started and i relayed this to my son when he started RELAX and HAVE FUN. When it is not fun anymore find something else to do!

Actions speak louder than words, the same people that write on here, even if it's something nice...are the same people that bitch at the track after the race and call people like motor builders and others involved to complain.

Practice what you preach. End of story.
