Jake Gomola held off a hard-charging Hunter McCracken to claim the checkered flag in the Laurel Highlands 305 Sprint feature.  According to the announcer the quick times on these cars during fast laps were in the 18 second range which is in the vicinity of 120 mph.  Will be interesting to see the mylaps results when posted.

The wall sure makes the place look brighter and the track was in great shape.  Hope they can get some of the boards installed soon, there are quite a few with bolts falling out of them.

How many club 29 cars aren't fast ? I know you have your guys like the dude at lernerville but I'm
Saying guys who won in other cars and got in club 29 cars

I'm not sure about a "Lanagan", but I know the Lanigan Club 29 cars have some impressive runs...if they are in fact played, please elaborate.

Just saying if almost every car is a rocket and only 1 car wins each race that's a damn high percentage of losing race cars ....

I was disappointed that Miley said they would be getting close to 20 sprints and only 13 showed. Also said 27C 01 and 60 would be there in the crates but only the 60 was there. Why you can never trust when you ask a driver if he is coming and he says yes then doesn't show up and makes you look like a fool. Still was a good night at the track. Once some more of the crates are done, the car count should pick up. Right now 00 and 12 are the cars to beat in that class. Also, if they will be starting each week at 730 why  not just announce that instead of fiddling around til 730?
