Well after numerous people wanted to go against what was being called for and saying NO RAIN when clearly the radar looked like a Christmas tree, what you expect.

The forecast changed drastically from yesterday, from only 40% chance up until 7pm to now over 90% of heavy thunderstorms.

I'd like to give PPMS and any other tracks that use it, credit for using the Rained Out texting to let people know the races are cancelled. Sure beats the old days of having to call 50+ times trying to get thru, or trying to call on the road. Sure helps when you are traveling an hour+ to get there.

We go to Raceway 7 on Friday.....will probably rain, good job by PPMS to cancel early enough to save the guys a long haul.

Thanks 96. Was bummed out that it rained today but I heard from at least 8 drivers who couldn't make it today for various reasons but will be there on 7/11. Hopefully no one gets torn up too bad in the next month and we have a great turn out.
