Well i am curious as to who is going to be racing there from the All Star Sprint Circuit. How many guys in the top 10 in points ??  Will Dale Blaney be there ???  Cody Darrah is 2nd in points will be racing with Outlaws at I-80 Speedway.  How much is the payout ???  Cap Henry will be at Fremont. I was thinking on going to this race. But if there is only going to be 20 Sprints it is not worth $30..

There's 14 cars with 100% attendance with the All Stars. Like I said on another post, there will be 28-32 cars there. Anything more or less would be a surprise to me.

Just asking but where would you go instead?  Are you a sprint fan or something else, just wondering the thought process behind why you wouldnt attend because one person may not show up.  Of course Dale Blaney will be there he is the points leader, why would he not?

The payout is the same as EVERY All Star race, I am just not sure how some are skeptical at all on this?

This is COMPLETELY different than when the race fans at PPMS got hosed by the false promises by Guy Webb about that other All star series when not many cars showed up.

Sheldon Haudenschild and Cole Duncan both had it on their schedules. Mercer does not race sprints on Sat this week so I think you will see a good field of race cars.

I'm trying to figure out where his info on Darrah came. I haven't seen that. And Cap Henry hasn't followed the All Stars in 2 years

Wow these posts get worse and worse. There will a good field tomorrow. For the renegade race last September there were close to 30. Where else you want to go tomorrow? You can go to Sharon and watch features only or go to roaring knob pay 30 fo the pits to watch two crate features. And the pits are 40 tomorrow some idiot posted 45 and people believed it.

Um, Cory Darrah isn't running the WoO this year. He's running the All Stars for his family team.

Cody Darrah still has the full WoO schedule on his website, but hasn't run with them for several months, and made a very public announcement that he would be running with the All Stars this summer.  I'm quite sure he'll be at Pittsburgh.  A big half mile track should be right up his alley.  Some jerks just like to stir the pot. Chrome, there were 31 410s at the Renegade show last September.

I dont understand why people try to sabotage stuff at their home track. Pittsburgh is one of my least favorite tracks but I'm still looking forward to this show. Is the price high? Yes. But it is what it is, if you don't like it, don't go.

I'm not going to miss this race. last years Renegades race was cool,  fast speeds (148 mph) , 6 wide salute, good food too.

I guess they think using his name justifies the ticket price. $30 for an AllStar race is nothing but a gouge. Lernerville didn't charge that, but they have a regular base crowd.

all i did was asked a simple question and as usual you get grilled to the max.  gotta love the forum.  I was curious as to who is going to be there and who isnt. Didnt PPMS have an All Star Race last year or something. It was advertised as a All Star Race and was like zero guys there from the series. other than Holtgraver.  Lernerville wants $35 for Silver cup. I was curious as to who going to race Saturday since they were wanting $30 to get in. I am sorry if i pissed you loyalist off.

Your thread title "Don't get caught up in the hype" isn't asking a simple question, it is basically saying that PPMS is trying to fool people into getting them in the stands.  The all stars are doing pretty good this year, from what I read and heard, they brought more cars to the first central pa swing than they have in the past.

$30 bucks is kinda steep, but if they get a decent field of super lates + the sprints, it isn't totally out of whack.  If my son didn't have a ball game Saturday afternoon, I'd be making my first trip to PPMS.

Why not use Tony Stewarts name?  He owns the series, and I'm sure the All Stars use his name in promotions the same as the track is doing.

agree could of worded it differently. I am sorry. i was thinking on taking the wife and 3  kids. but after tickets and food be looking at a $200 night. Kind of steep is all i am saying. Eldora Ohio Speedweeks All Star Sprint  June 20th race is $20.  And that is with UMP Modifieds. Was saving for the Firecracker.

excellent post! yes he was asking  simple question yet the headline indicates that somehow there is false advertising going on. Along with the pther incorrect statements you made making you look like nothing but a pot stirrer.

You idiots also fail to realize that PPMS is also running super lates, which the other tracks that you are comparing them are did not. That's 2 headline divisions in one show.

this is racestud you can't expect to talk logic with anyone on this site. We got the best racers and setup people on this site who know it all and everyone thinks they know what prices are fair. Rick should just have mercy on mankind and put the bullit to the head on this site its a joke.
