Walt, I seen you Friday night, you still get free beer from the press box bar? At 75 I understand the driving part.  I wouldn't want my dad out that late either. That's when you make a younger buck drive you all over.

Cheers!

Sparkler

Here are a few photos that were taken at 2:41PM this afternoon at the speedway

We left Cranberry Twp. at 1:00PM and the sun was shining.  By the time we reached Slippery Rock it was raining and it began to pour once we reached the town of Franklin and it poured the rest of the way to the track.  Driving up Route 417 the water was just overflowing in the drains on the sides of the road.

We will announce a practice session in the near future.

We appreciate your support and with some cooperation from Mother Nature we look forward to seeing all of you at the track!

Thanks Tri-City. Is that a school bus stuck on the track?

Every bodies a expert when it comes to running a track in after a rain hits the speedway. Did any of you read what Walt posted. THEY GOT THE TRUCKS STUCK IN TURN 1. they where trying.I wish Walt could get a promoter to give you the numbers on how much money they lose on late afternoon rain outs ? I think people would be shocked . Maybe promoters should let people in the gate, I'd like to see them try to get across a wet racetrack. Or offer to bring your daily driver to help run the track in. Weather is what it is, you can't do anything about it. O I almost forgot. BITCH

Most tracks running a premium division like sprint cars easily have over a $20,000 nut to crack to break even. All things figured in like payout, insurance, payroll, food, etc. People like Sparkler or Earl Jackson, (Weller Fan), and others have no idea what it takes to run a show. You should be thanking your lucky stars a new owner stepped up at Tri City, so we can enjoy the sport we love, not running these new owners into the ground every chance you get. With all the hard work they have put in to bring Tri City back from the dead, they deserve much better consideration from you so called fans. If you know these jokers, point them out to the owners and let them know what they said. I wish they could screen out you whiners at the gate and send you packing. Don't give out rain checks on rainy days and see if they complain about the promoters around here when they could lose only $15 out of their pocket.

I was at the speedway when they canceled.  I drove down toward Franklin, and it was raining so, I could hardly see to drive.  I don't know where you live 23wellerfan1, but the sun is always shinning at your home.  Well, you can kiss me where the sun doesn't shine.

Ya, I do take it back. About 4:30 or so we got a good shower. Really thought that little band was it. Sorry I'm not perfect. 3799, thanks for throwing my name out there, I'm impressed one of the racestud clowns can find someone's name anymore.

That's great marketing, Dutko. Instead of underlining the positives, you choose to try and identify and weed out people that sometimes have negative thoughts, because you get butt-hurt over them, as if you have any skin in the game. Instead of commenting on a great race or some fine sportsmanship, you try to use your self- important position as a track announcer as a bully pulpit. Stay classy.

Just make your point, and move on already instead of making a galactic buffoon of yourself.

Thats all he knows how to do.  Resident jackass of Western PA.  Obviously I dont have a dirttrack sitting in the front of my house, so just cause Im close and it didnt appear we got a lot of rain, obvious seeing the track, it was way worse then what I originally thought.  Sorry some of us aren't perfect, unlike Dutko.  Hes the GOD of this world.  I forgot.

Whatever you say Weller Fan, I mean Earl Jackson. Skull weeding out and identifying these computer clowns who do everything to knock the tracks with no knowledge of what they are saying is a bad thing? I don't think so. You couldn't have raced boats at Tri City tonight, but let's just bash the new owners who have put their hard earned money on the line for their decision. Every race fan has skin in the game, because idiots like Earl are going only serve to upset the owners. Who in turn will look elsewhere to spend their money.

And just like I told you, hard to tell how much rain we actually got today because of my yard. Seeing the pictures, then it pouring again about 4:30, notice I didn't see anything. After 4 years of certain deal how the place, I'm tired of waiting. Nobody's fault, but that dumb mother nature. She's screwed up about everything in Western PA this year. I'll say whatever I want on here, and just because you do T like it, doesn't mean I'll quit. God forbid someone doesn't agree with the decision to cancel early. Do I understand it, yes. Doesn't mean I have to like it. Marks busting his ass to make this work. I have all the faith in the world in him.

U better go take a look at the forecast. It keeps getting worse. Good game of tug of war in a nice low wet spot. Firewood, coolers and your favorite beverage. Good times by all. The weather is just like the lottery, they can never get it, and I tell them what numbers to pull. Go figure.
