Owens' hauler is in the shop and Davenport has just backed out due to the weather forecast (per his Twitter). What a shame; both obviously would've been heavy contenders.

Exactly what I figured would happen. Something we have to live with in the days of smart phones and everyone thinking they are a weatherman. I would hate to be a promoter. Oh well, I'm sure it'll still be a blast without them.

It really sucks that the Lucas guys stayed home, but either way it was a great night of racing and I can't wait to get back tomorrow.

Still slightly disappointing. Should say disappointed in most of the Lucas guys. For the purse, you'd expect a better field than essentially what you'd have for the Working Man 50. Weather forecast isn't great but it's a Crown Jewel and Sarver PA isn't exactly on the opposite coast for most of these guys.

The firecracker is not a crown jewel. It's a race at a track in pa that pays 30k to win. I
Don't understand how or why people love to put lernerville on the level of Knoxville or eldora and it's not even close to that.

According to the experts Bloomquist is to davenport what Danica Patrick is to jimmy Johnson or what Francis Sesco is to Donny schatz lol

Amazing how you idolize a man who snorts his winnings up his nose, yet you belittle the folks with less than million dollar operations as "meth heads". He's a hell of an accomplished racer....... And that's it.

If Scott Bloomquist blows dudes for heroin he's still the best that's ever strapped in. He also out sells every other driver 20-1 in merchandise ... The boos and cheers are louder for him than any other driver ... He won his first world 100 in his first trip to eldora in 1988 and in 2014 he's STILL winning world 100's. I respect his driving ability and his knowledge of race cars what ever he does beyond that I can careless

So since your "favorites" are not coming, go support your local track like Raceway 7 and support your local drivers that put the blood sweat tears and most importantly the money into giving us something to watch every weekend....

If Lernerville rains out, most of the weekly shows will go down the tubes as well!!  With the WoO on hand, Lernerville will try harder to get their show in compared to those who will just loose another show during what has been a very wet month!!   Jenerstown has already canceled for Saturday and this is just Friday afternoon!!

On my to lernerville is a few minutes....C U there!!!

Walt
