ohio speedweek?
Mercer speedway is in Pennsylvania so of course I would mean Ohio speed week. I'm talking pa speed week. No reason they should t be able to get a date during the week. Why should the guys out east have all the fun.

A. Western Pa tracks wouldn't want to pay the same purse that the other speedweek tracks pay.
B. Eastern Pa teams wouldn't want to travel to Mercer when the rest of the shows are all based in Eastern Pa.
Western Pa used to have a speedweek back in the early 90's. I'm not sure what tracks were involved, but I remember seeing highlights from Hickory and I believe Challenger.

All of the bitching and complaining you do when they cancel, one would think you'd just be happy they're gonna get them in and be ready to watch some extra racing. I'm starting to think you're a miserable sob who's never happy.$25 Friday only $3000. I'll give Sharon credit where do a reasonable $20 for speed week. Then Mercer running 3 other classe to hold us there all night.

The ASCoC sanctioned Western PA Speedweek, starting in '93, and originally it was Challenger, Hickory, Lernerville, PPMS, & Sportsman's. Later years included Mercer, Tri-City, & Port Royal on the schedule. I'm thinking the last year for it was '99, IIRC. Always a lot of fun to attend; I really miss it!!

I am kinda curious why mercer wouldn't try and get in on speed week though. Atleast Friday night. Could get a heck of a lot of nice cars there
It's too far away from the core of the tour to be viable, and I can't imagine the racers would want to come all the way out here for one race. If they could get Lernerville on board with it too, then maybe it could work. But I don't really see any interest in that, either.

I don't think he even comes to Mercer at any time. I think he lives at Sharon Speedway.

I can afford it .. Principal of the matter. I'll be there and I'll meet you face to face
Meet me face to face for what? So you can spoil my good time by listening to you bitch and moan all night? Or are you some kind of tough guy? Either way, you're like this older dude that sits by me and my buddies at Lernerville. All the guy does is cry about everything. Hell, if going to the track ever makes me that miserable, I'll find something else to do with my time.

Maybe it's just me but for 20 something dollars would rather see all stars, 305's and 358 mods as opposed to all stars and mini stocks.
