Powell wad clearly the better car last night and got 2nd. Then in the pure stocks Dq a guy who runs with the street stocks in NY and you guys put him in the pure stocks. What a joke!!!!

IF he was clearly the better car he wouldn't have finished second....

Someone of his caliber shouldn't be running at Thunder Mountain any way. He is clearly a Lucas Oil / WoO caliber driver according to all your posts.

Maybe next Friday he should go down and show the Lernerville regulars how it's done instead messing around with those lowly Thunder Mountain late models......

2 lapped cars spun and brang out the caution. Ferrell spun and didn't hit them cuz he had no where to go. Of course you give the leader his spot back. Also I don't care where your from,if your illegal dq the guy. That's how you keep fans and drivers coming back. Kudos to thundermountain.lots of yellows , yes I don't think bo ever thought he would have the problem of too many cars this early in the going. Huge crowd and car counts keep going up. It was late when we left but the guy is trying. And that's more than you can say about almost every other track in the area. Quit bitchin about seeing a great race for the win and your buddy didn't win.

It's certainly not the tracks fault that those guys demolished their cars. Track was beautiful. A lot of HORRIBLE driving in a few classes. Don't bash the track for driving issues. Too many cars is a good problem to have. Keeping them from destroying each other is a seperate issue. Maybe half those guys should be running in his demo derby at the fairgrounds tonight instead of tearing up people's race cars

I am sorry I wrote that wrong. The track itself was great. Maybe a little dusty but looked great. As for the late models Powell would have had him a few times if luck wasn't on Farrell's side.

Who is "they"? Dude showed up with 8" rubber and ran with the pures. The rules are posted. Apparently he didn't read them or ask. Maybe he thought they just wouldn't tech because most places don't. I didn't know the track was responsible for letting drivers know which class they are running.
By that mentality a late model could go race with street stock and make the argument "they look like my car so I thought I'd be legal"

If you are stopped when the yellow light comes on and the caution comes out, you go to the rear of the field.

714d, what did they tech on any of them? Can't possibly check cam lift, porting and polished items or a carb by shiNing a flashlight under a car.

Why was the 24m nailed for jumping the restart? Why have a restart zone if the flag man is going to start the race, that is dumb. I started paying attention to restarts after they docked him and the same thing happened no less than 15 times after that, yet no one penalized. It's a shame because it cost him that heat race and a top 4 starting spot in the feature. If you're going to call it, call it every time.

Yellow was already out for 2 spun cars. He spun after the fact to avoid T boning the guy.

Great racing all around. Sprints put on a show. Nice run By 58. Farrell and Powell put on a show. Ss was just bad! I hear those apples have been thrown out so...there's that. Pure stocks was a good race. Was hoping to see the 3 get the 88 under green... But be was dqed anyhow. All in all...great racing. Track did a good job I think.
