Why was Ryan Montgomery given his starting position at lernerville in a back up car ?

Why after may rush modifieds were disqualified for aluminum water pumps. Was an engine given to a modified driver with an aluminum pump on it. Seems like a set up to me.

One last thing great support at eriez on manufacturer nite. But not one thing one who won the the prizes or who gave them. Was this a request to not be mentioned.

Thank you for your time.
Great racing everyone

Ryan probably got his spot because the race was three weeks later.

There's no penalty on changing cars when a feature is made up at a later date as long as it's the original driver and same car owner.

Friday at Lernerville was the first we had seen the motor.  Our sponsors Jones Racing Products and Sweeney/Pace Performance weren't aware of our rule.  It was simply a mistake and will be corrected.

All of the prizes for MFG Night have been posted several times.  There will be a complete list of the winners posted later this week.  Every driver received at least two prizes.

Thank you for your prompt response. Even tho I believe retaining your orgainal starting spot in a different car is not correct way to do it. No matter when the race is run.
Thanks again for addressing my questions.

How could you police that? Are you gonna run serial numbers on every car? That's a pain in the ass that isn't worth the trouble.

you have to make exceptions for that cause what if a car gets totaled. Thats out of your control just like the weather. Im sure they would have rather raced the original day than have to come for a make up.

How do you even prove it? Honestly when any race is rained out/postphoned, as long as it is still the original owner/driver whatever car the team brings should be OK. With the Firecracker rained out, do you think all the cars that return are the same cars that were there originally? The race is being run some two months later. Some of the guys that are chassis builders have no problem selling any of the cars they ran. Cars get totaled, sold, and owners buy new ones.
