What does everyone think about pure stock 602 crate motors for 2016?

Does anyone think its a good idea? Are the 602 crates going to hold up? What if the motor blows up? Send it back and wait forever to get it fixed? How many racers are going to pull their motors and buy a crate? i bet pure stocks car count is going to be low!!

Crate engines for a purestock.... Stupid Some of the guys don't have much money in their engines.. but I mean it seems to me that they don't care if they have any purestocks. Every week the tech guy is picking on something new and ridiculous and pushing cars away....they had a solid car count why nit pick

Yes what are all the racers going to do that cant afford a $3500 602 gm crate engine? Dog hollow pure stock class brings more cars than their late model class... why try and nit pick and push people away?

I was told by thunder mt that no 4 barrel alum intake pure stock will ever run at their track... And plus im not buying a transponder thanks anyways. They got their hands full up there with a 5 car pure stock field

Guess the choice is yours then .  2 barrel and transponder or crate engine.

We'll Just go to Marion center next yr..they allow 4 ballel and aluminum intake.. Im sure they'll gladly take the guys that dog hollow pushed away I'll never buy a crate or a transponder

On another note, I spoke with a few 410 sprint drivers, and they are still waiting on their pay from the race on july 19. Anyone else get their money yet?
