With all the recent street stock crate engine debate.....

There was a change in the weight rules for the Stock cars at Sharon Speedway...

 

604 has to weight #3000 , just like the open motors.

 

Is this an attempt to push cars to Lernerville?

 

Something just doesn't seem right...

602 #2600.
Up to 361 #2700. 8"tires
362ci and up #2800. 8" tires
All cars utilizing other than 8" #3000 except 602
604 #3000

361ci and under adds #300
362ci and over adds #200

They shouldn't get anything they already got a 70 pound weight brake off the front axle having aluminum heads I would love to loose that weight on the front axle.

Maybe it's because they added them after the season has started? They more than likely would need to see how they compare to what they have now. To me a crate belongs on the streets,not in a racecar.

got a garage full of parts from rules changes that were suppose to save stocks money it didn't work when will the tracks learn. making good parts junk doesn't save racers money

Use anything you want , The equalizer is Weight .. and Weight is something anybody can afford . 

Mandated crates is bs with only one brand .!!!
