FASTRAK Mid-Ohio Valley racing action resumes this Saturday, August 15th, at the Tyler County Speedway (Middlebourne, WV) with the Eaton/Childers Twin 20 lap main events.  Each main event will pay $1,000.00 to win and if one driver is able to score the victory in both A-mains he will collect a $400.00 bonus.

Wayside Furniture of New Martinsville, WV is sponsoring the FASTRAK portion of the evening's racing action and one lucky fan will win a Weber Barbecue Grill .

"John Watson and the entire staff of the Tyler County Speedway have been great supporters of the FASTRAK Racing Series and we are excited to make our second visit to the facility this Saturday," commented FASTRAK Mid-Ohio Valley Director Joel Prosser.  "The Bullring as it is affectionately nicknamed always provides some exciting racing action and the FASTRAK teams, officials and fans are looking forward to a great program on Saturday."

The feature events will honor two of the area's finest competitors, Beecher Eaton and Bill Childers.  Eaton, a resident of Wheeling, WV, was a standout Late Model competitor who competed at many tracks in the area.  He is the father of current and former Tyler County Super Late Model competitors Brian, Doug and Mike Eaton and the grandfather of E-Mod driver Cody Eaton.

Like Eaton, Childers, a resident of St. Marys, WV, was a legendary competitor at many Mid-Ohio Valley tracks.  Unfortunately Bill passed away of a heart attack while in the pit area of the Tyler County Speedway.

FASTRAK Mid-Ohio Valley is also proud to announce that Wayside Furniture if New Martinsville, WV is sponsoring the FASTRAK action this Saturday.  The family owned business is located at 1000 Third Street in New Martinsville and offers a great selection of furniture, appliances, mattresses and electronics.  For additional information please visit their website, www.waysideonline.com.

Joel Prosser, the current FASTRAK Mid-Ohio Valley Touring Series points leader, as well as Kris Southern, Ryan Montgomery, Joe Bowie, Kyle Thomas, Danny Thomas, Daniel Hill, Tyler Stutler, Chuck Kimble and Derek Rogers are just a few of the competitors expected to be in action hoping to score not just one but two victories on Saturday evening.

Competitors should note that that this weekend's event will count as two races towards the ten that are required to compete at the 12th Annual FASTRAK World Championships that will be held at Virginia Motor Speedway on September 18th and 19th.

Please note that transponders and Raceivers are required for all competitors.

Saturday evening's racing card will also include the Super Late Models, E-Mods, Mini Wedges, Hot Mods, Mod Lites and Four Cylinders. General Admission tickets are prices at just $12.00 and Pit Admission is $30.00.  Gates will open at 4:00PM with the drivers meeting beginning at 6:15PM.  Hot Laps will follow at 6:30PM and racing will begin at 7:30PMFor additional information please visit, www.tylercountyspeedwayonline.com.
