Just wait till they all go with electronic calipers, then we will have no more issues. In a perfect world lol. That stuff is going to be even worse than rusted lines.

The electronic power steering many manufacturers are going with now is already a nightmare.

Their talking about replacing all the brake lines on the trucks with a gm kit of pre bent lines. where I work 70 bucks an hour, they charge 8 hours labor, plus 300 for the line kit, 40 for brake fluid. And if a bleeder brakes off 300 for a caliper.

Yes !

The First Company to Import and Sell cars Manufactured in China!

Government Motors that your grandchildrens future paychecks purchased the company for $118 per share and then sold them for $28 to $34 per share .

The Government motors that ripped dealerships from the hands of Family businesses .

The government Motors that used a perverted Jungle like bankruptcy court to Rob " Preferred " Shareholder's of their rights to assets of the company that they purchased with their hard earned money.

The Company truck that pulls the CHINA float in the macys parade

The Government motors that killed 49 people with ignition problems and didn't bother to tell anyone!

Ya ! YOU BOUGHT IT ! YOU FIX IT!

by the way they have recalled more vehicles than they have built in the last 6 years !

From a FORMER chevy man.

^ where did all that info come from? While I disagree with just about everything gm is doing these days, there's not a lot of truth in any of that rant.

I'll start with your first point. Not an argument, a question, because I don't claim to know all...... What car is manufactured in China and imported here to the states?

714 the preferred stock holders was absolutely shafted and the company was handed to the union. I'm not sure about purchase and sel price of the stock but th tax payers took a Mandingo sized shaft. The ignition problem killed a bunch of people no doubt ... They did take family owned dealerships .... I'm not sure what part you say isn't true

I don't know the specifics of what happened to stock holders. In simple terms, the govt used our money to bail gm out. According to gm, that's been paid back in full. I don't know who you can believe when it comes to specifics. I'm asking what cars are made in China? Way too many parts are, but to my knowledge the cars are not. U.S., Canada, Mexico, Korea, and Australia are the only assembly places I'm aware of.

The Chevy Spark and Buick Encore are made in Korea.

I mentioned Korea. Sonic as well is made there. All from gm's purchase of daewoo. Gm EXPORTS a ton of cars to China, mainly buicks. It's the reason Buick stayed and Pontiac got the axe. Pontiacs numbers were better here, but China loves their Buicks.

What's really sad about GM Trucks is that there are more Toyota trucks built in America than there are GM trucks.

Where they are assembled doesn't mean a LOT to me personally. The direct impact on our area is where the parts are made. A lot were made in western PA factories. Now most come from other countries. It's no wonder our economy is tanked. Bring the manufacturing jobs back. We're a country of over educated idiots, up to our eyeballs in debt, but wont do any actual work for money. It's always gotta be easy.
