Matt Lux finally drives the Jim Detman-owned #111 to Victory Lane
Swartzlander, Bowser and Kelley add to lofty career win totals.
Sarver, PA (August 21, 2015) The streak of beautiful weather for Fab4 Fueled by Turner’s continued tonight as welcomed new marketing partners Aerotech, Inc. to the track for the first time. They were treated to a wonderful night of racing with some of the biggest names in the history of the speedway in Victory Lane. Brian Swartzlander finally returned to Victory Lane after an infectious case of gremlins haunted their last several weeks of racing to score his 90th career win at the Action Track in the Diehl Mods. Carl Bowser ran way with the Peoples TWP Sprint feature to score his fifth win of the season and 19th of his career; tying him for 10th All Time in the storied Sprint division with Hall of Famers Mark Cassella and Ted Wise. Joe Kelley also padded his Hall of Fame resume with feature win #51 in the Pic-A-Part Sportsman. Bowser tied Mat Williamson and Corey McPherson atop the Fueled by Turner’s Leaderboard with those five feature wins, while Kelley kept his hopes alive with his fourth feature win of the season; tying Alex Ferree.
But the real story tonight came in the Precise Late Models where Matt Lux finally delivered Jim Detman to Victory Lane. Detman has driven himself and of course had Brian Swartzlander behind the wheel for several years before Lux took over mid-season.
