Why is there a change in there schedule from the 3 race point chase to a 2 race chase???

The Little guys at Mercer is on that week end.

i imagine most if not all of the 305 sprints will be in mercer that weekend... people complain when tracks compete, they complain when they don't... as i say in most every post i make here, it seems "complain" is the only common denominator...

Two reasons.

 

1. Many of you noticed the coal showing its ugly face. As well as the clay dissipating from our surface. It has become increasingly difficult to prep that surface due to the obstacles that were presented. We want to be able to start the second phase of renovation. Starting with Re-claying the surface. We would like this to be done early before winter sets in.

 

2. I will NEVER compete against already established venues. It's not god for the drivers, fans, or the facilities involved.

Try to shorten the turns a bit and bank turn 2 where it levels off. Needs to be 2 grooves to race on. Now it's only 1 lane. No criticizing just trying to help.

Is the second race going to happen this Friday? Rumor has it that it will be cancelled. That would be a shame.

Has Thunder Mountain run since August 28????   Nothing on their website since I last looked a couple of days ago and nothing on here from racingmoma!!

Ive noticed bo is in to this demo thing more than the track. Seems like he puts the demos first but thats just my opinion. If your gonna run a track, run the track. Work both schedules so they dont cancel each other out.

To the best of my knowledge. The Chase continues this coming Friday, Sep. 18th. As per schedule. The weather forecast for Knoxdale  for this race is looking good. That is as of this morning. Could change. I am sure if Bo has changed his mind he would have posted it on his Facebook page. It will be the last race of the season.

He's been doing demos for years. 

The schedule was set at the beginning of the year and worked around the demos.  Everyone knew the schedule

 

I agree with zippy though, the site needs updated regularly,.  Some of us don't use facebook

MUCH THANX Papa Paws!!   Thunder mountain is a hard track for me to keep records on for my Cavalcade Points since they don't keep their website updated all the time and send little out to the media!!   I still have about four unaccounted for dates back in June/July, but I think several of them were rainouts.

I'd say he's done had cancel Friday so he could go to the World 100
