Shane Clanton strikes again to win $10,000 Working Man 50
Sarver, PA (September 4, 2015) Just over two months after Shane Clanton won the Firecracker Thursday Preliminary, he dominated Friday Night’s Working Man 50 after masterfully carving up lapped traffic en route to a $10,000 payday and potentially paving the way to a second career Firecracker 100 victory Saturday Night. Local and regional drivers fared well, as Three-Time Defending Track Champion Alex Ferree ran amongst the top three for most of the race, before succumbing to a flat tire in the closing laps. Davey Johnson finished fourth, ahead of Chub Frank in sixth and Gregg Satterlee fought all night to overcome issues in time trials to record an impressive eight place finish.
