And a garage full of trophies from multiple tracks. I'll give him credit. He's earned it.

gokart trophies.

I'm sure there are plenty of those as well. Not a bad place to come from, but who is winning more in a late model locally? I'm not saying he's a national star, but he's getting done what he set out to do this year and then some I'm sure. Curious if he'll travel more next year after a successful 2015.

I am amazed how many people are ripping on Charlie Powell, yet have never even met him, let alone raced against him.  Heck, im not even sure he comes on here.   What I find even more comical is that most of you spend time each day thinking about him.  As the great Bob McCreadie once said, no matter if they are cheering you, or booing you....they know who you are.   I wonder how many of you are even known at your local track.  The amount of races won on Racestud is astounding, and everyone knows this is where the true champions are crowned, not on the track, regardless of what track it is.

The legend measured him with his throat scale. How else would he know his length & flacidness? Lol lol lol

I believe he's referring to Phillips, but he must not know that Phillips fields both a superlate and Steelblock at marion Center

The S1 car Phillips was driving is a steel block he's ran for some Snyder and won with twice that I know of at Marion Center in the steel block division.

Right, I wasn't accusing Phillips.  I know he has both aluminum and steel block cars.

They should allow both anyway. It's been proven that the advantage is really not noticeable. Or make them add weight to match thunder mountain rules. I don't think you'd get any most nights anyway, but leave the door open if someone wants to.

Most of the front running steel blocks would beat the aluminum block flunkies anyway
