Williams Grove announced the end of the Saturday Night Series after 10 years. For those not familiar the Saturday night series ran Super Sportsman Sprints, 358 Late Models, and Street Stocks for $6 admission. The Saturday night show has had a bigger car count and sometimes almost as big of a crowd than their traditional Friday Night shows. The days of the Grove getting by with just 410's and 358 sprints on Friday's may be coming to a close as the car counts dipped quit a bit this year. Word is most of the Saturday Series will be moved to Susquehanna under the new Gobrecht ownership. I am disappointed to see them put an end to a successful series.

This looked and sounded to be a move that was worked out together between Williams Grove and Susquehanna. I dont believe Williams Grove ever would have cut them from their schedule if they couldnt get by with just 410's and 358's. I think these were 2 tracks working together for the betterment of racing in general. However, William's Grove must have something up their sleeve for them to just give up the SNS and receive nothing in return.
