So if I am reading this right any Pro Stock would have to race both days with net $75 pit passes and a $15 entry fee for a $800 to win, $100 to start, $75 tow money event?  Or tag on to a B main where an additional fee equal to half of the two day TOW amount will be deducted from payoff plus the entry fee. Yikes.

Every racer is part of the show and should not have to finance the super late event.

What are they financing ???? 35 is a pretty typical pit pass and cadets are racing for 800 to win which is not typical

Jon where are you getting $35?  It's $95 for a 3 day pit pass or $75 for Friday for heats and Saturday for feature plus a $15 entry fee for $800 to win and $75 tow. Let alone what the Pure Stocks and 4 Cyl are paying for their purses.  That is absolutely a back gate financing!

Pittsburgh charges $35 or $40 often to get in the pits and pays the class $300 to win.    That is absolute back gate financing also.    They are fortunate to have someone willing to gather up sponsors so they can have a big Stock race once a year, for simple naming rights and a pat on the back.  It's interesting that anyone associated with that fiasco of a track would criticize another tracks events.....

I'm not criticizing the track,  They can charge whatever they want.  I'm saying they are sticking it to the Cadets, which they are.  I do enjoy how anything, anyone says on here comes back to PPMS.  PPMS charged $75 to see the Lucas guys and everyone trashed them, yet Dog Hollow is charging $75 for a UFO race and no one bats an eye.  It's funny.

"Sticking it to the Cadets" seems to be criticizing.   I brought up PPMS because you are associated with them.   Plus I have no use for the place as they have ruined Saturday night racing for me.  I have to drive an hour plus to see a good Saturday track these days.      But if Dog Hollow is "sticking it to the Cadets," didn't the track you are associated with do the same exact thing the class (and worse because they deducted hidden entry fees after the fact) with their $75 pit pass?

Cadets were $1000 to win $100 tow with no entry fees. So no.

Please remember I'm just putting the race together. When they make money I still lose my own contribution to the purse. So I don't consider myself "associated" with any decisions they make. Just stating my opinion of what I'd do. But until i own my own track my opinions mean squat!

Vince, you sure are nit picking. So what if there charging $75 pit fee & $15 entry fee. Where going there to race and watch a good late model show! Its a bonus that their having support classes. Do you really that us racers really care about $50-$100? If you do, your in the wrong hobby or sport. Its the end of the year and were just happy that we got somewhere to race and watch a good show. I believe your in the minority on the one.
